3.2: Dissasterous consequences.

After that Day Sans kept bugging Livie for days to visit the smience building so he could show her what he and Alphys were working on. Livie kept refusing him until he started to ask her with puns and as it was Livie's weakpoint she would laugh and cough to since she was still dealing with her cold. Eventually Livie gave in as she soon found herself inside his car with Sans and Gaster. Sans was the one driving while Gaster was at the backseat "since when can you drive sans?" Livie asked. "ever since gaster kept using his magic to form multiple hands so he could do other things making us late but also driving dangerously..." Sans replied. "ah i see..." Livie said with and akward tone as Gaster was pouting in the backseat. Livie giggled when she saw him pouting in the mirrors and they eventually reached the building. Sans was overly excited to show Livie around the building and what his project was. But before she could go any further she had to wear a labcoat, so Sans gave her a spare one he made wich was to big for her but she dint mind. "comon!" Sans sais as he grabs Livie's hand and starts to guide her through different rooms where they tested out different things. Livie was amazed by all the science combined with magic, happening inside the rooms. Livie was still sick and coughed alot wich made her not notice Sans intertwining his fingers with that of hers. Sans Smiles as he watched Livie looking at every new thing with exitement as her pupils were shaped like stars. The further they went the more Livie started to notice how strange Sans was acting around her. Finally he brings her to the room Alphys and Sans were working in wich was amazingly big "woah this room is fu- *cough* cking huge!!! why do you two have such a huge *cough cough* ass room?" Livie said with a suprised tone. Alphys smiled as she adjusted her glasses while internally shipping the pair infront of her "w-well you see me and s-sans are trying to create a-a portal that can be used to bring us to t-the places we want to g-go around the world" Alphys explains. "yeah and we have build two big portals so we could test them out once they were done" Sans further explains. "that's so cool! this could benefit everyone and *cough* maybey reduce traffic all in one!" Livie sais as she could not stop beeing overly excited by this wich only made her cold worse. "e-exactly!" Alphys sais as she stretches out "a-anyway it is break time for me so i-i will be back soon". Alphys leaves the room as Livie was reading their papers on the progress they were making. "woah hey there!" Sans sais in a hurry as he snatches the clipboard from her hands "dont read what is not meant for your eyes yet". "oh i'm sorry i was *cough* just a little excited, that's all" Livie sais as she looks away. Sans lays the clipboard down as he stares at her and suddenly pulls livie closer. "s-sans??" Livie was confused by his actions as he had never done this before. Sans's cheekbones flushed a blue color as his face was getting pretty close to her's. "s-s-sans?" she sais with a shy stutter as she suddenly went into a coughing fit. "l-livie! oh god i'm so sorry!!" Sans sais with a worried tone as he gentle placed her on a desk chair. The doors suddenly open as Alphys walks in only to see a Livie stuck in a coughing fit and hardly able to control her breathing. "i-i will get Dr.gaster" Alphys sais as she runs off while Sans tried to calm her down. "hey! take big and slow breaths oke?" Sans sais 'i really fucked up this time' he thought to himself. "s...*cough*...sa...*cough cough*...sans..." she sais through her coughing fit as her vision became blurry. Gaster runs in with Alphys "what the hell happend in here?" he asks as Livie tries to look at the source of the voice "ga...*cough*...gaster?...*cough cough*" Livie sais as tears started to well up in the corners of her eyesockets. Gaster picks her up like a little child and held her close to him while rubbing small circles onto her back "there there, calm down livie...just try to focus on the sound of my voice" he said with a gentle tone. Livie slowly but surely started to calm down as she closes her eyes and falls asleep in Gaster's arms. "livie?...livie are you oke?" Gaster asks as he became worried after hearing nothing for a moment, until he heard soft and slow breathing sounds. Gaster looks at Sans who was sitting on the desk chair with guilt written all over his face. "Dr.alphys, could you please step out of the room for a moment" Gaster sais in a stern voice wich made Alphys leave the room as quick as she could. "now sans...care to explain why i am holding a very sick livie in my arms?" Gaster sais with a much more sterner tone then before. Sans looks away as he rubs his left arm "i...i was trying to...to confess my feelings for her...with a kiss" he sais as he could feel Gaster's eyes judging him already. Gaster just sighed as he turns around "i will bring livie to the hospital myself and in the meantime, you think if these feelings for her are reall or not" he hinted wich caused Sans to look at him in a confused way. When Livie woke up she could see she was in the hospital 'oh great...i havent been in the hospital for years...' she thought to herself as she tried to sit up slowly. Glenn suddenly bursts in "LIVIE!" he dramaticly shouts as he ran over and hugs her tightly "i thought you were going to die". "glenn...your beeing overly worried again..." she sais as she returned the hug "but i'm glad you're here". Glenn let her go as he looked at her "livie...you know you can't go out when your sick! why did you do it anyway?". "s-sans had been asking me for days...so...i gave in because i would'nt get any sleep from him asking me constantly" Livie sais as she looks away. A knock on the door could be heard as the skeleton familly was standing there. Livie smiles "c-come in come in" she sais with a happy tone. "we are glad to see you are well enough to sit up straight" Gaster sais as he feels her forehead "still slightly feverish" he added. Livie giggles softly wich only irritated her non-existing throat more as she coughed "i-i'm glad you all came to visit" she sais afterwards. Papyrus hugs Livie "we always will come and visit you" he sais as he lets Livie go. "though...we would have liked it if you told us that your fragile towards illnesses" Gaster sais wich made Livie widen eyesockets as she looks at Glenn who looked away "you told them!!!" she raises her voice as she then coughs more before calming down. "wether he told us or a doctor, you should have told us nevertheless" Gaster sais witch a stern voice. Livie looks down as she held the blanket in her hands tightly while her body was trembeling wich made Papyrus lay his hand ontop of her's. "telling us is not a weakness livie. it show us that you trust us with your care" Papyrus sais as Livie looks up and started to cry and smile "i-i'm sorry...so sorry...i'm sorry..." she repeated herself as Glenn went to the other side to give her a hug. Livie calmed down as Gaster looks at her "i believe sans has something to say to you in private" he sais. Gaster, Papyrus and Glenn leave the room as they close the door only to leave Sans in the room with Livie. Sans sighs as he had his hands inside his pocket and he would not even look at her "i...i'm sorry i did'nt concider your illness and forced you to come out to the smience building...only for it to get worser..." his tone was sincere. Livie maybey sick but she could tell when someone was holding something back "sans...i...i had fun while beeing there you sho- *cough* showed so many wonderouse things...but i have a feeling you need to tell me something...*cough cough*...or am i wrong?" she sais as Sans suddenly grabs her hand and looks her in the eyes. 'he's trembeling...but why?...why is he acting so strange?' she thought to herself and before she could even ask Sans opens his mouth "i...i love you livie flower!!!" he spouted out as a cyan colored blush covered Livie's cheekbones. "y...you love me?" she asks with a confused tone as Sans smiles more and held her hands tighter. "do you...do you love me?" he dared asking her as Livie was more confused then ever. She never had someone love her that way, yess she had love from friends and familly but this kind of love was new to her, it was warm and sudden. "sans...i *cough cough* i never eum had someone love *cough* me the way you do right now...i...i dont know how to respond to this...i dont even know what this type of feeling is...honestly i'm confused *cough cough*" she explains as she felt bad for Sans who was bearing his emotions towards her and she could not even reply them. To her suprise Sans pulls her into a tight hug "that's oke livie, if you accept my feelings then i will teach you" he sais as his voice sounded so gentle. Tears suddenly fell down Livie's cheekbones as she held Sans to tight "i-i accept your feelings sans". Sans was tapping her back "t-to tight liv...liv!!!" he sais with worry in his tone. The tight hold was suddenly gone as Livie's hands slid down his back onto the bed as a worried feeling creeped into his soul. He let Livie go as she fell backwards into the pillows with her eyes closed and gasping for air. Sans's eyes widend as he pushes the red nurse button rapidly and just as he did a few nurses ran inside trying to get the situation under control. However Sans was forced to leave the room even though he protested against it. "i will win your heart" he mumbled to himself as he waited for the nurses to come out the room. Gaster, Papyrus and Glenn just arrived in a hurry as they asked Sans what had happend only for Sans to explain a small part of the truth. Gaster squinted his eyes in suspicion but did'nt push Sans for more information. A week passed by rather quickly since that day as Livie was finally discharged from the hospital. The doctors told her to still be carefull since she got rid of the fever and coughing, but she could still relapse. Livie sighed as she knew she could not use her magic recklessly. The moment she left the hospital she was greeted by Sans who was waiting for her with his car "car for a ride?" he sais as Livie giggles softly "sans that was so bad" she replied. Sans brought her home and stayed with her doing small but loving gestures as it made her cheeckbones flush in a cyan color. Slowly but surely Livie started to understand this new feeling called love. The more she understood the more she could respond properly back wich suprised Sans from time to time.
