Look at the fanart that -leaden- made of Jupiter! I can't stop looking at it, it's so beautiful! Also, I've planned the rest of this book out and the last chapter will be 25!
Playlists and Books
Felix sighed, setting his head down on the table in front of him. Wren and Quinn had disappeared to talk about something or the other, Nils and Tarla had gone to the small bookstore a few shops over, and neither Aeron nor Jupiter had shown up yet. So Felix was left sitting at an empty table waiting for his friends to get back. He lifted his head at the sound of a chair moving next to him and smiled at Jupiter as they sat down next to him. They were wearing a green bomber jacket covering a white t-shirt with a few embroidered flowers. The embroidered flowers lined the pockets of their jeans as well. They always had the coolest outfits and Felix was pretty sure they'd made at least one if not all of the clothes they were wearing.
"Hey," Felix said, immediately brightening up.
"Hi," they let out a soft laugh. Before either of them could say anything else, Quinn and Wren both took a seat across from Felix, grinning at Jupiter.
"Welcome back," Felix laughed, ignoring their hands gripped in each others' under the table. Quinn just stuck her tongue out at Felix, Wren laughing. Jupiter shook their head, turning towards the door from where Aeron walked in, glancing around quickly before spotting them.
"Hey," they said, still looking around but taking a seat next to Jupiter.
"Hi," Wren said, raising his eyebrows. "If you're looking for Nils, him and Tarla went over to the small bookstore cause he wanted a specific book and Tarla said something about seeing it there."
"I was actually looking for Tarla," Aeron said, trailing off when the door to the small restaurant opened. Aeron quickly stood up, sending Tarla a look before walking towards them. Both of them walked outside leaving Felix confused, and from the way his friends' eyes trailed after the two of them, they had no idea what was happening either.
"What was that about?" Nils asked, sitting down where Aeron had been sitting earlier.
"No clue," Quinn said softly, shrugging.
Felix tugged on the sleeve of his hoodie, covering his hand with it. He glanced up, seeing Jupiter smile at him making his cheeks warm. They quietly picked up their phone, and Felix took that as a hint to pick up his own. He smiled at the notification that immediately popped up from them. It was a playlist link to a playlist called "give me music" and Felix couldn't help but grin. It was collaborative and private with Felix as the only person who had favorited it. He quickly opened up his playlists because the minute someone asked for recommendations, Felix forgot every song he ever knew. He added his favorite Conan Gray and Alec Benjamin songs, knowing that they'd probably heard them and then moved to the collection of songs that had been recommended by spotify, or obscure artists who had released songs that were breathtaking. He was so focused on going through songs that he almost didn't notice when Aeron and Tarla walked in. The sound of their voices was enough to get him to look up.
"You can't keep doing-" Aeron said as they got closer.
"I know," Tarla replied, running a hand through her hair. "Just give me time!"
Aeron raised his eyebrows at her, but both of them sat down, letting whatever the argument was about stay on hold.
"Anyway, what're we doing today? After the best coffee in the world of course," Felix asked, setting his phone down.
"We can just go around the shops and stuff," Wren said, shrugging. "And if people wanna do different things we can always meet at the thrift shop down the street. He was met with hums of agreement, only interrupted with the sound of Tarla's phone buzzing. She picked it up, but set it down again after glancing at the notification. Felix glanced at Aeron to see their eyebrows knitted. What was happening?
