A Guide to Wattpad

SCROLLING THROUGH THE FANTASTIC CLUBS!

I have noticed that most of my friends have been on Wattpad for over a year and they still don't know what is 'CLUBS'

I'm like, "What the even heck!" and decided to write a chapter all about this glourious thing they call Clubs. And yes, this is dedicated to all those people who don't know what is CLUBS is. 

1. Where is 'CLUBS'??

Let me tell you, my little fishes. 

You know that orange strip at the top of your page, yeah that. There is something labeled as, 'COMMUNITY' 

Click that. 

A little drop down menu will appear and there will be:

"BLOG" "CLUBS" "AWARDS" "WRITERS" "WATTPAD LIFE" and "#justwriteit" 

I can guess you know which one you have to click. The "CLUBS" button. 

2. What next?

So now you should have a page open and on the top of the page, it say's newest club discussions. Don't click on any random stuff cause it won't do good to you. 

Firstly, you want to look at the square pictures on your right hand side. Over there, there is SPECIALTY CLUBS and CATEGORIES. 

You can look through all of them and join them to be a member! 

Here's a quick rundown of the clubs:

1. Wattpad Announcements club: This is a place where you can get the latest news, updates and on-goings within the Wattpad Community and Team. If you are a person that likes to stay organized, then I highly recommend this club for you if you want to stay on top of the news. 

2. The Cafe Club: A place for making friends, socializing, and talking about various topics. You can even play games like, "Slap The Keyboard" 

3. Improve Your Writing Club: If you're serious about writing, you should check this club out. This club centres around everything related to editing, writing and critiquing. There are heaps of people that will help you with your writing!

4. The Mulitimedia Designs Club: This is my hangout area. As you might've guessed here is where a Wattpad artist can help you create an original pieice of cover art for you Wattpad book, or and awesome book trailer! Or if you are just wanting to learn how to create you own designs, this is a great place to start learning!

5. The Industry Insider Club: If you're interested in getting your work published in the real world, this is a club for you. Club member discuss the ins and outs of the publishing industry, marketing ideas and share their tips for success.

6. Genre Clubs: Besically their the: Romance, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Classics, General Fiction, Mystery/Thriller, Horror, Teen Fiction, Vampire, Fan fiction, Adventure, Humor, Poetry, Action, Paranormal, Spiritual, Non fiction, Short Story, Werewolf, Historical Fiction Clubs. 

In these clubs, you can talk to other writers and lovers of the genre. You can also promote your story on that genre.
