We left Waterbury on the 26th, going down to Philadelphia. I sat with Josh on the bus again, Sky and Ben next to us.
During the last rest stop Ben leaves his phone at the table with us while he uses the bathroom. I grab it and go to the clock, making about fifteen alarms before setting it back down. Ben comes back and we walk into the bus.
"Am I sleeping tonight?" Josh asks quietly as the busses start to drive again.
"Nope," I smile and pull my laptop out of my bag, logging in and smiling sadly at the picture of Jax.
"Can I stay with you and Mel tonight?"
"Nope," I laugh slightly, pressing play on the original Cats.
By the time the movie ends the busses are pulling up to the hotel. We walk into the hotel and see our group standing around, waiting for Jeff. Mel walks over a few minutes later with a key and we make our way up to our room.
Josh, Ben, Sky, DeMarius, Dan, Mel, and I go out for dinner together a while later once everyone gets settled.
"Are you sure I can't stay over?" Josh asks again as we walk back into the hotel.
"Fine," I sigh and he cheers quietly. "But you gotta make it seem natural." He nods as everyone else joins us in the elevator.
"Hey Dyl?"
"Yeah?" I look over to Josh as the doors open.
"Can we finish Cats?"
"Sure," I smile as we walk down the hall to our rooms.
"Wait but didn't you guys finish it on the bus?" Sky says and I see Josh turn and give him a look.
"We still have like half of it left, we watched The Breakfast Club first." Sky nods and Josh walks into my room after Mel.
"Have you even seen The Breakfast Club?" I laugh after I close the door.
"No, but you talk about it all the time so," he shrugs and jumps onto Mels bed.
"Not mine," I say as I sit on the other bed, plugging my laptop in. He switches beds and I grab a t-shirt and shorts to change into.
"Do you have extra clothes?" Josh asks as I come out of the bathroom.
"Probably? I definitely have some of your shirts, I'm not sure about pants. You can see if you can find anything." He nods and looks through my bag before finding a pair of his shorts that had somehow made its way into my bag.
I grab my copy of The Breakfast Club and put the disk into my laptop so it's ready when Josh comes out. He climbs in next to me and I press play.
"Is this The Breakfast Club?" He asks as the opening credits roll.
"Since you claimed to have watched it earlier, yes." He laughs and we keep watching.
He ends up falling asleep halfway through and I pause it before turning it off. Still feeling wide awake, I grab Jiji and my phone, carefully slipping out of the bed.
Grabbing the room key, I walk out of the room. I sit against the wall and watch some Youtube videos.
After a few hours I get bored and switch to scrolling through my socials, walking up and down the hall with Jiji sitting on the floor outside of my room. I pass Ben's room and faintly hear the sound of an alarm going off.
"Oh my god. Shut up!" I hear Ben complain and I bite my lip to avoid laughing.
I keep walking, quietly playing some Queen. I hear another alarm go off in Ben's room and pause, holding the door to my room open slightly.
