"You two..." Voldemort hissed.

I was chained to a chair with a blindfold around my eyes but I knew that bastards voice anywhere.

Slowly the blindfold came off and the light blinded my eyes. The first thing my eyes landed on was Bridget...she was suspended in the air and frozen...she looked as if she was sleeping. Her body was idle and she had no expression on her face, just closed eyes and hair floating around everywhere.

"BRIDGET?!!!" I called out to her and struggled in my chair.

"She can't hear you," I heard a small scratchy voice to the side of me. I looked over and saw Hazel sitting in a chair...in the same situation. She had tears in her eyes and she looked tired. Her voice was broken...probably from screaming...I saw that like Bridget, Frank was suspended in the air before us.

"Are they both awake?" a deep voice boomed through the entire cavern. I saw something move in my upward peripheral I looked up and was met by two giant eyes looking down at me.

"Ah, Draco, Hazel, meet your true mother. Chaos," Gaea spoke. Her figure was standing big, green, and scary with red eyes.

The Earth Mother.

I'd heard of Mother Nature...but I never thought she'd be scary.

I looked up again at the green eyes staring into my soul.

"Where is everyone else?" I yelled at them.

There was a deep laughter, "Your friends are getting their memories altered currently and being sent to their new homes. Now these two we've been done with...but they have other uses," Chaos explained looking at Bridget and Frank.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?!" Hazel screamed at the top of her lungs.

I heard a rasp laughter and saw a figure with golden eyes, "We aren't doing anymore to them than we are the others." he paused. "If you corporate."

I glared at all four of my enemies, "What do you want."

"Well, my dear Draco. We want your silence. We are messing with memories and the timeline of your quest. Sabotage. We are going to leave you two alone. If you corporate you get to stay with whomever your beloved is," Chaos explained.

"Why would we betray the rest of our friends?!" Hazel asked.

Gaea sighed, "Because. If you don't then you die."

"We're willing to die if it means we don't betray our friends," I scoffed.

"And, my dear boy," Voldemort smirked, "These two will die."

*the ~spicy~ flashback is over*

I shuttered thinking about that moment. Seeing Bridget floating in the air completely lifeless. Every time I think of telling someone, I think about how she would die as well as me and what that would do to Percy and the rest of our friends. I was okay with risking my life, but not hers.

I was walking back to the train and I ran into Nico. Of course I couldn't just start up a conversation like I knew him well.

Because in this version of our lives...Nico is more of a loner than he was in the other life.

Piper and Leo are still best friends which is good. But Piper and Jason do not know each other. Percy and Bridget are still siblings and with one another. I don't know what they did to Rachel. I'm hoping she is okay.

I decided to make up an excuse to sit with Nico.

"Hey, is this seat taken? Everywhere else seems full," I said politely. He rolled his eyes and nodded his head as an okay for me too sit.

"Seems everyone needs a seat today, first that Gryffindor girl, Bridget, her name was. Now you, Mr. Draco Malfoy. Why did so many people come to Hogsmeade today. I hate sitting with other people."

"Bridget? Gryffindor? That's my girlfriend actually, she's really sweet. Means well."

Nico gave me a tight smile, "I thought as much. I actually didn't want to kill myself while speaking with her like I do with anyone else."

"Now don't try doing that with me, I hate a pointless death."

Nico rolled his eyes, "Says the former Death Eater."

I was taken aback, I sometimes forget in this version of the world I haven't really made up with anyone yet so most everyone is still pissed at me because of my decisions in the war.

I looked out the window, "I didn't have a choice. You must know what that is like. Not having a choice, being forced to comply to save those you care about."

Nico shook his head, "You seem too know a lot about that though."

You have no idea Nico...if you could only remember then you would understand too.
