The mornings after full moons sucked like no other. I woke up confused. Thankfully, I hadn't strayed too far from the cave I placed myself in before Leo left me alone.
I always got the day after a full moon off, because of my condition the teachers excused my absence. Sometimes I would still go in though. Just too make sure no one caught onto a pattern.
I still couldn't believe those two other boys knew now. But I guess there was really nothing I could do about it.
I held my head and laid on the ground of the forest.
The morning sky was beautiful. I felt a bird land on my stomach as I laid motionless and peacefully.
I lifted my head and it looked at me, "Hello, little one." It was a baby robin.
The bird hopped off my stomach and began too hop away with some fear. Nature instinct.
I sat up and took out a pencil and my notebook that I always kept on me. I was inspired to draw.
I took notice of the trees around me and how almost seemed to have human facial features. Like eyes and smiles.
I shifted under the gaze of the trees, I loved nature but I also do not want to feel like a rat in a lab.
I sighed and closed my notebook and put the supplies in my pocket.
I began to head back to Hogwarts. Of course, I had to a back way, a long way.
The woods back to Hogwarts from Hogsmeade were not an easy hike. At least, not in my normal form. If I was in my other form. It'd be a piece of Pumpkin Pastie.
But I couldn't have everything. Even if I was old enough to Apparate, you can't Apparate in or out of Hogwarts unless you're Dumbledore. Rest in Peace his soul.
"Are you lost dearie?" I whirled around at the sound of a voice.
Before me stood an older looking man with gray hair wearing a brown cloak.
"Um, no thank you sir. I'm just fine. I take this way often," I said kindly.
"You won't find what you're looking for back at that school Rachel," the man spoke once more.
I froze and turned around, "How do you know my name?"
The man smiled, "Why, I keep track of all the people in the Wizard and Muggle World. As well as some other worlds too that exist here, but never mind that. I also keep track of what other people desire. And I know that you are feeling lost and confused."
I squinted at the man. He walked forward a step or two. I noticed he had a limp. He carried a cane with him.
"What are you talking about? I don't want anything and I'm not confused," I spoke sharply at the man.
He sighed, "Well, dearie. If you ever find yourself realizing I'm right. I suggest you come back here and we can strike a deal." The man started too walk off
"Wait! What is your name?" I asked the strange man.
He turned with a smug grin, "Now, that's something you do know."
Stunned I couldn't even move or say anything when the man disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
That was not Apparation.
I looked around the clearing and began to run as fast as I could back to the castle.
Finally, when I got there I sprinted to see Professor McGonagall.
"PROFESSOR!!" I yelled running through the door of her office.
"Miss. Dare. May I ask why you had the urge to come bursting into my office like a herd of elephants?" She spoke with a sharp tone laced with annoyance.
"Professor. There was a man, out in the woods. He spoke to me and he knew my name without me saying it and he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. It wasn't wizard magic this was different. Professor are there other magical beings out there? He told me I knew him and that he knows everyone and that he could give me answers. I'm freaked out. Sorry for bursting in like this but I'm concerned and confused."
McGonagall put her hands on my shoulder with a concerned look in her eye, "What did this man look like child."
I struggled to catch my breath after the running and explanation, I gasped out, "He had longish gray hair *gasp* uh...he had a cane, he was limping *gasp* he was on the older side."
"The nerve of that man. He has no business being around here," McGonagall mutter to herself. She scowled and walked around her office looking for something.
"Professor. Who is he?" I asked in a nervous tone.
She looked at me, "It's better if you don't know, dear, names hold power and the less you know about him the better off you'll be. Just know if you ever see him again, leave immediately and do not make any deals with him."
I nodded slowly and walked out of her office.

Hey guys! I know it's been forever since I updated but I didn't know what to write. I know where the story is going I just have to get there lol. Anyway, if there are any Once Upon a Time fans out there yes this new character is pretty much the OUAT version of Rumpelstiltskin. Though, idk if I want it to be Rumple or not yet, that might be too many crossovers for my brain to handle. Please send me feedback <3
