Best day ever

I wake up and look around and see JJ sleeping by me with his arm draped around my stomach.we weren't suppose to be doing anything today so I just let him sleep.

I reach over him and grab my phone and turn the volume down low and scroll through Instagram.

"Good morning" I hear from beside me,I turn and look at him and smile.he scoots over to look at my phone and I rest my head on the side of his shoulder.

I scroll a little bit more before I get bored. "What do you wanna do?" He asks and I shrug.

"I know a good snow cone place in town" JJ says "let's just do that" I say sitting up.I get up and walk to my bathroom changing into a different outfit. "Ready?" He asks and I nod. "Do you need to change?" I ask him and he looks at his outfit and shrugs.

"I don't really wanna go back" he says and I nod understanding.I look out my window and see my mom is gone and my dad is most likely asleep.

"Let's go" I say and we head for my door.I see my dad on the couch and cringe as I'm embarrassed that JJ has to see him.

I put my finger to my lips feeling him to be quiet.my dad stirs around in his spot and I push JJ behind the wall.

"Where are you going?" He asks "I'm going to get something to eat,I'll bring you something back" I answer him and he nods. "Thanks" he says and goes back to sleep.he can be so nice sometimes but one thing makes him so angry and he completely snaps.

I hear his breathing slow down signaling me that he is now asleep and I grab JJ's hand and run out the door.

"That was close" JJ says with a laugh and I chuckle "I know right"

We walk into a cute little shop.it has surfboards hanging on the walls an a theme of pastel green and pink all over the walls and the cups.we walk up and a boy is standing at the counter.

"What can I get for you ma'am" he says setting his arms on the counter getting close to me,completing ignoring JJ. "Can I get one of those blue raspberry ones?" I point to a sigh and he nods pressing buttons on the tablet in front of him. "What size?" He asks. "Small,oh and can I get one of those sparkly cups" I say and I here JJ chuckle.

The boy nods, "pretty cup for a pretty girl" he says and I get uncomfortable,JJ grabs my hand noticing the boys intentions.

He then turns to JJ after flicking his eyes to our hands. "And you?" He says in a not so nice tone and my eyebrows furrow. "Same as her" JJ says and the man rolls his eyes.

I look at JJ confused but he doesn't do anything.the man goes to the back and I hear him making it and shortly comes back out.

"Here you go ma'am" he says handing it to me. "Thanks" I say taking it.he then hands JJ's his and we pay and walk out.

"Pretty cup for a pretty girl" JJ repeats the boy in a sarcastic tone making me laugh.

"What was his problem?" I ask JJ. "He likes you" he answers and I look at him confused. "What?"

"I could tell,by the way he was looking at you" he says taking a spoonful of his snow-cone and I shrug. "Guys don't look at me like that" I say with a chuckle. "No,absolutely guys look at you like that-"

"No-"

"I just saw two guys look at you like that" he says cutting me off.I look at him for a moment then shrug.we keep walking until we reach the beach.not realizing our hands where still intertwined together.

We sit down in the sand and watch the waves crash.we both finish our snow cones and set it to the side.I get an idea and pull out my phone,and play a music play list.I stand up and grab JJ's hand. "What are you up to now?" He asks.

"Dance with me" I say putting my phone on a tree trunk. "I can't dance" he says. I tug on his hand pulling him to me. "Me neither" I say and he smiles.

A good song starts to play and I smile at him.he pulls me in and spins me around and I giggle spinning around.I start to lipsinc the words and he lets out a laugh causing me to giggle.

I then spin him around laughing.he kicks up sand on my legs and I gasp.I kick sand back at him and run off.he chases me as a never ending smile aches the sides of my face from smiling so much.He finally catches me and I squeal as he picks me up and brings me to the dock about to drop me into the water.

"JJ!No!JJ stop!" I squeal as he drops me into the water,but instead of just me falling in I drag him with me.

We break through the water coming up for air.and he looks at me shocked as I purse my lips together holding in my laugh.

"your gonna get it" he says and I squeal swimming away from him,as he quickly swims after me.

He grabs onto my ankle pulling me back to him.bringing me face to face with him.he smirks at me and I chuckle.I push his head into the water and he comes up flicking his hair on my face.

I giggle as his hair tickles my face. "Stop!" I shout through giggles pushing his hair back.I pull myself closer to him as he wraps his arms around my waist.

I slick his hair back and grab a scrunchie from my wrist,putting it in his hair.once I'm done I take my hands out of his hair and chuckle.

"How do I look?" He asks making a face causing me to laugh. "You look fantastic" I say doing the chefs kiss and he smiles.

He lets go of me and I swim over to the dock lifting myself  up onto it.JJ then follows after me.my cloths stick to my body as the water leaves it.

I look around to see if anyone is looking and take off my shirt wringing it out over the side.JJ didn't seem to mind as he did the same thing with his shirt.I put my shirt back on and so does JJ and we walk back down the dock and back to my phone.

I turn off my music an grab my snow-cone cup.

I see a trash can and walk it over there throwing it away.I turn back to JJ and see he's waiting on me and smile and walk over to him.I see that he kept his shirt off.it's hard not to stare.I also see that he took the scrunchie out of his hair and put it on his wrist.

We start walking back to my house. "Wanna stay again tonight?" I ask him and he nods. "I have to change though,I'll go home and change then come back" he says. "Want me to come with?cause I will if you want me to" I ask and he shakes his head no.

"Ok,just come through the window" I say and he nods jogging off.I turn back around and walk onto my porch.I open the door keeping my smile. "What are you so happy about?" my mom asks.

"I just had the best day of my life" I say and she raises an eyebrow.I ignore her and walk up the stairs.

I quickly hop in the shower and change I walk out into my bedroom and wait for JJ.it starts to get late and I start to get tired.I walk over and open my window and lay down,so he could get in.

I feel myself doze off as I fight to stay awake but fail.

I'm awoken by my blankets being draped over me. "JJ?" I whisper. "Yeah it's me" he says laying beside me I smile. "Hey thanks for today,it was really fun" I say turning to face him still half asleep. "Your welcome" he says facing me and wrapping an arm around me pulling me closer.

I fall asleep with a smile.
