***TWO WEEKS LATER***

JULIE'S POV

"Ok, here you go," I say putting down two plates in front of the twins. "ALEX, LUKE DINNER" I yell out into the house. Where the hell are these guys? I mean I guess we have a huge house.

"COMING" I hear one of their voices echo from our music room. "mmmm pizza," Alex says running into the kitchen. "Lex, no running please don't get hurt" I shake my head and laugh. "Sir yes sir" He salutes as Luke comes walking down the hallway.

"Luke, off your phone at dinner," I say as Luke has his head down, scrolling on his phone as he walks over. "Ok" He mumbles, slipping it into his pocket. "Maybe uh drop the attitude a little there," I say in a fake cheery tone.

"What attitude?" Luke gives me a look. I smile "Let's talk later," I say as I look over at the kids. "Alright then" He throws his hands up as he grabs some dinner.

During dinner, the tension in the room could be cut by a knife. Alex tries to bring up a few topics but just ends up talking to the kids.

Married life is hard let me tell you, I mean not many people are celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary at age 25. Well, I'm turning 25 soon and our anniversary is in a little over a month. This month a lot happens. The twins, Luke and my birthdays are all in the span week of each other.

"Why don't we go play outside," Alex says, placing a hand on the kids' backs as he guides them outside, looking back at me and Luke. "So you wanna tell me what's so important you were on your phone at dinner?" I ask as I load the dishwasher.

"Nothing" He mumbles, sitting up on the counter. "Nothing or nothing you want to tell your wife?" I give him a look. "Nothing" He mumbles again, making me roll my eyes "Then tell me. If it's nothing, just tell me" I say crossing my arms.

Luke looks at the ground and groans "Ok fine, something I don't want to tell you about" He rolls his eyes. Wow back at it with the attitude I see.

"Ok um, Luke, you realize that every time that nothing" I use air quotes around nothing. "is happening or going on, It usually ends up in someone getting hurt," I say think back to all the times he has hidden things from me.

"Well, this time it's actually nothing" He bites the inside of his cheek. "Dude, just tell me" I almost laugh at the stupidity I feel radiating from him. "No Julie" He snaps, looking up at me while raising his voice.

"Wow um ok then," I say getting taken back. "I'm gonna go," I say pursing my lips and nodding my head. "Wait, Julie, no" Luke says looking like he fucked up, well he did. "No, I um realized I have plans... with my mom," I say walking towards the door.

"Julie, really?" He strains my name while hopping off the counter. "Yeah um, we will talk later" I smile. "No Jules, that's not a healthy way to end a conversation" He lets out a laugh. "Then tell me" I pick up my purse and grab the car keys.

"I can-" I cut him off  "You can't? Is Caleb back? Are you texting the man who killed Dani?" I say in a higher-pitched tone. "Ok don't play the Dani card, you know I am still struggling with that" He points at me.

That was kind of harsh of me, Luke held our dying daughter in his arms for hours. We still need to get answers eventually about how Dawson brought her back, but this is all against the point.

"Ok yeah, I'm sorry about THAT. But Luke you have to understand, I am paranoid all the fucking time now. We don't know if Caleb is REALLY gone" I strain that and really. "So sorry if I'm constantly looking over my shoulder and panicked" I throw my hands up.
