ALEX'S POV

"Bye Kelsey. Bye Aiden, buh bye baby" I wave out our front door with a fake smile.

"And number three, just a bust" Willie groans, picking a few things up off the floor.

"Maybe this isn't the right time for us. Maybe we should be a more active participant in Alora's life for the time being. Ya know with Flynn being gone and all." I shrug, falling into the couch with a huff.

"Don't talk that way. We will make this work. It takes time right?" Willie sighs, taking a seat next to me.

"We have fostered three kids in the span of six-ish months. Each one getting moved to another home or claimed by a family member. Dude, we aren't going to be dads" I face the facts.

I'm a realist, not half full or half empty. The glass has half water and the rest is filled with oxygen and nitrogen.

"Maybe we should wait. Most people have kids when they are closer to 30. I mean Luke and Julie are technically teen parents, Reggie and Flynn are on the early end of parenthood. Maybe we need to wait" He pouts, brushing some hair out of my face.

"You're right. I just guess with the others becoming Moms and Dads, I guess I'm feeling left out in a way" I shrug.

"Well, for the time being, we have Danielle, Dawson, Alora. We're the cool uncles. We can be the ones to bring them out for weekends without the parents" He laughs, looking up at the picture frames covering the walls.

"Maybe we should foster a girl. The boys have all been busts" Willie chuckles, picking up the TV remote.

"That's an idea" I chuckle, leaning my head against his shoulder as he picks a movie for us to watch.

"What kind of Dad do you think I'd be?" I ask, keeping my eyes on the Tv.

"Well, seeing as your basically the dad of Reg and Luke, we already know" He laughs.

"Those idiots would be dead without me"

"I gotta go to the ghost club, wanna come tonight?" Willie asks after a couple hours of laying around

"You don't need to ask me every time you go. I trust you now" I chuckle, grabbing my coat.

"Wait so do you want to come or not?" Willie laughs, throwing his shoes on.

"OH, I wanna come. I wanna see the other ghosts. It's been way to long since I've seen anyone there" I laugh.

"Alright. Um we should go" He smiles, taking my hand and poofing us to the ghost club.

"Will, we need you over here!" A voice calls out the second we get to the front door.

"That's me. I'll see you later. Bye love" He kisses my temple before running off to his office.

"ALEX! Over here" I see Rose calling out, waving her arms around.

"Hey! How are you?"

"Great. How are the others? It's been a little while since I've seen my grandchildren and I'm a little ticked off and my daughter and son-in-law for that" She laughs, pointing to the chair beside her.

I take a seat and lean back. I explain everything I know. Everything that's happened since Christmas. Well, everything that I know about.
