Steve shuddered slightly by the sudden surprise since I was probably the last person he expected to look for him.

I closed the door behind me and sat by the table on the opposite side and looked at him. I waited in anticipation for him to say something.

However he just kept looking at me in disbelief.

I rolled my eyes. "Seriously Cap? I got you speechless? C'mon it's not that big of a surprise, is it?" I said and leaned back on the backrest.

Steve scratched the back of his head, obviously thinking of what to say.

"You know that I can't do that." he said as he rested his elbows on the table.

I raised my eyebrows. "And why can't you?" I asked and crossed my arms.

"You can't just ..." he took a deep breath to get together the right words, " ... wake up one day and decide that you're going to be an Avenger. It doesn't work like that."

"Actually, I didn't decide this when I woke up ... in fact I came up with that just about 8 minutes and 46 seconds ago." I said, for some reason kinda proudly.

"8 minutes and 46 seconds ago?" Steve gave me a questioning look.

"It's 8 minutes and 51 seconds now." I replied as I tapped my fingers on the table, making a sound of a clock.

Steve rubbed his eyes a bit stressed. "Don't you think that this is kinda a ... reckless decision?"

"Reckless decision ..." I repeated after him and pretended to think for a moment. "This should be a name of my autobiography."

"You are not taking this seriously at all!" he said with a bit raised voice.

"Bitch please, don't you play smart with me about reckless decisions. I went to Europe with no money and fake identity while being accused of being a mass murderer..."

"... and we all know how that ended." he interrupted me.

I stood up quickly which made the chair fall on the floor, smashed my hands against the table and leaned on them as I coldly stared at Steve's eyes. "Don't waste my time Rogers. Are you going to help me or not?!" I asked with a bit tensed voice.

He shook his head. "Tony will kill me if I let you do this."

I let out a deep relieved breath. "Nah I wouldn't stress about it. I already told him and he's fine with it as long as I don't die." I lied.

Once again I was honestly impressed by how fast I could lie.

At first I could see in Steve's eyes that he had some doubts about the credibility of what I said. "But what if you die?" he asked completely casually and leaned his chin on his fist just as if he was thinking.

I thought for a moment. "If I die he would kill me. Which would not be hard since I would already be dead."

... Yes I know, I should've came up with something better.

"I'm having such a hard time believing you. But okay." he mumbled and stood up. He walked towards me and stopped just a few inches away.

I looked up and down his body. "Wow, that close you are even more huge." I said and nodded impressed.

"Here's a deal..." he started.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh god I knew it was way too easy." I mumbled.

He ignored me and continued. "After you become an Avenger, by that I mean when you are finished with all the necessary training and survive at least one mission, you are going to tell me everything you know about Bucky."

I sighed and closed my eyes. "I hate you so much." I said underneath my breath.

"Yeah I know. Now tell me. Do we have a deal?" he asked and offered his hand.

I looked around for a bit, thinking. Then I smiled slightly, looked him straight into the eyes and shook his hand. "Alright Rogers, we have a deal."
