( The pic is what I imagine Sparrow to look like right now, but with white eyes.)

That night, Gilda, Emma, and I bonded.  I normally didn't talk to many people outside the trio, but after hearing Gilda say all that, I really wanted to become friends.

"So, Gilda, the world needs to know," I stated, looking at her seriously.

"About what?"

"Do you have a crush on Don?" I asked, looking into her eyes deeply, measuring her reaction.  She stuck out her tongue in a gagging motion.

"Definitely not."

"Then who?"  I leaned into her, my mouth by her ear.  Unbeknownst to me, she blushed at the closeness. "Is it, Emma?" I asked.  I had personally shipped Gilda and Emma, so I was hoping that was it.

"No!  No, no no, we're just friends."  Gilda sputtered.

I leaned back.  "Then who is it?  I can't see Nat as a candidate... maybe Anna? Or Ray?" I thought aloud.

"I-I'm not in love with Nat or Anna or Ray... I'm not... in love with anyone! Yeah, so there isn't anything to find out!"

I looked at her suspiciously.  "Mmhm..." Emma had just been watching the scene, holding back laughter.  I turned to her.  "Then Emma, who's your crush? Norman?  Or maybe Ray?" I thought of those opposites attract fics I had seen but never clicked on.  I just couldn't see Emma and Ray as anything other than friends.

Now it was Gildas turn to laugh at Emma as she struggled.  "I'm not in love with either of them, geez!  What's with all the sudden questioning?" She grumbled.

I ignored her question and continued.  "Then, Anna?" I leaned in the same way I did with Gilda.

"No! Neither!  Ahhhgghhh, just stop it's embarrassing." Emma said, her face scarlet. Then she looked at me like she had an idea.  "What about you?  Who's your crush?" She interrogated.  She looked... oddly absorbed in my answer, looking at me keenly.

I tilted my head.  "My crush huh... I'd actually never thought about anyone in that way, after all aren't there more important things to focus on, like our futures?" I said.  The two girls gasped.

"You've never even thought about it!?"  Gilda asked.

"How?  Teach me, Sparrow, teach me!" Emma begged.

"Even if you ask, I don't really understand it myself,"  I admitted.

Gilda and Emma looked at each other as if they had a silent understanding.

"Then, Sparrow," they both said together. "You need to think about it!" Then they split off.

"At least when you get older if you won't now!" Gilda pleaded.

"Romance is an important part of your future too!" Emma insisted.

"Al-alright, I'll consider it.  Just leave me be, okay?"  They nodded their heads in agreement.  Suddenly, Gilda giggled.

"I'm glad the three of us are talking again like this," Gilda said, smiling at the two of us.

"It's weird, right?  Even though we're together every day," Emma responded. Gilda grabbed both mine and Emma's hands.

"And we'll be together from now on, too, right?" Gilda asked hopefully.

I and Emma smiled.  "Yeah," we said in unison.

Little did Sparrow know, something different than normal would happen sometime in the near future...
