(3rd POV)
"Let's go over the plan," Ray said, holding his camera. Sparrow looked at it fondly.
"Wait," Sparrow stopped. "Hand it over," she demanded, pointing to the camera. In her past life, she had taken photography as a hobby. It was one of her few passions from back then. Ray looked confused but complied.
"I need you three to stand together," Sparrow instructed. "Emma in the middle, Ray and Norman, go to her sides." They started moving as she told them to. "Ray, a little more to the left. Emma, lean back a bit. You're fine as you are, Norman. Now, smile! And Emma, don't you dare flinch and ruin my shot."
She adjusted her angle and took the picture. It came out perfectly, the light just right. Sparrow smiled at it. Ray refused to smile and kept a straight face, while Emma and Norman smiled warmly. "Good job," she praised.
The trio awed at her skill. "How are you so good at that?" Norman asked, looking at the photo when Sparrow showed them.
"Books. The idea of taking a picture isn't very complex, it's just the matter of finding the right light and angle," Sparrow lied. She was experienced, so of course, she was good at it.
"Still, it's really impressive."
"Thanks. Now, Don and Gilda, your turn." Sparrow did the same thing with them and took a final picture of all five together.
"I feel like a celebrity," Gilda giggled at the end. Sparrow laughed with her.
Her normally mysterious, and sometimes cold aura had a warm feel to it, and the five all smiled at her. Sparrow took the photos back from Ray who had them and reluctantly returned the camera to him.
"Sorry about the interruption, you can continue now," she told him. Ray nodded.
"Let's go over the plan," he began again. "When we start free time after lunch, I'll distract Mama. Norman, Emma, and Sparrow will climb the wall and inspect the vicinity. Don and Gilda, stay outside the south window on the House's second floor. Just in case I fail to distract Mama, I'll signal you. Let Emma and Norman know to cancel the inspection immediately. We have six days until the plan commences, and we have two and a half months until it's time for me to be shipped out. So if something happens, immediately cancel the inspection. Everything needs to be done secretly. We need to pretend to be controllable."
"Don! Play with us!" Mark called from a few meters away.
"Gilda too!" Another kid said.
"All right! Ready for some tag?" Don asked playfully, running towards the now giggling kids with Gilda.
"Ray, Sparrow, do you have a moment?" Norman asked with a guilty tone.

(Sparrow's POV)
"Hah?! SIster found out we can break the tracking devices?" Ray said in disbelief.
Norman nodded. "So I want to move up the escape day. When can you break the tracking devices?"
Ray sighed then lifted the camera up towards me and took a photo. I just stared at the flash of light. He took out the photo and held the camera towards Norman and Emma, who were standing ninety degrees away from me.
"With this, I have all the necessary parts. I can break them anytime now." Ray said, handing them the camera. He waited a minute for the film to develop then smiled at the photo. He quickly realized what he was doing, and replaced it with his usual blank look. "Look at your weird face," he said.
