That night, the trio heard about the world's circumstances and celebrated. There was a light of safety in sight, though it was a dim one.
The trio did as Sparrow recommended, and learned as much from Mujika and Sung-Joo as they could. Emma learned to hunt, Ray learned how to cook, and Norman learned to heal. He decided that, because of his less-than-average physical capabilities, he would memorize every healing herb Mujika knew. Along with joining everyone else in her lessons, he had private ones with Mujika, where she would list off everything she knew about survival. At the end of the five days, Norman knew as much as Mujika did about the wildlife of the demon world.
After the five days, they said their goodbyes to Mujika and Sung-Joo and headed towards B06-32. After a day of walking, they finally arrived. But it was a desolate area, with no signs of life.
"There's no mistake, we're in B06-32 alright," Emma murmured, looking at the hologram.
"Seriously?" Asked Don.
"So now what?" Nat wondered. "There's seriously... nothing here."
"What can we do? This is really... B06-32," Emma said.
"What does it mean?"
"There's nothing here!"
"No sign of any kind... nothing at all!"
The kids were panicking among themselves, some calling Minerva a liar, some in total disbelief of their situation. Norman walked up to Emma, who was holding the pen, during the chaos.
"The pen, Emma," Norman said, tapping her shoulder for the pen. He grabbed the mythology book and checked for the password, finding it quickly. After typing in the passwords quickly, he got to the page where it gave him the error message back at the house. He found the password for it and typed it in.
"If I'm right, it should..." Norman muttered, and the hologram changed into a diagram.
"What is that?" One of the kids who had been watching Norman asked.
"It's a map," Ray answered for him. "There's an underground entrance! It's around that area! Go look for it!" He commanded. The kids scattered, looking in the dirt for the entrance. While they did that, a part of the hologram glowed.
"Ray! Norman! Look, something's happening!" Emma called from a meter away. Norman and Ray ran over and found her on top of a metal manhole. "Here it is..."
Ray pulled the door out of the way to reveal a latter leading down. The group quickly started climbing down, starting with the trio. They entered a hallway, where there were numbers labeling doors on each side.
The kids began moving around, searching, when Jemima jumped back and grabbed onto Emma.
"Emma! I heard somebody behind that door!" Jemima whisper-shouted, alert. The trio walked towards it, then Emma opened it. Beyond it, a man sat with his feet up on a table, a broken teacup in his hand and a box of cookies to his side. His hair was jet-black, with a white streak in it.
"Hi there," the man greeted. "You've come a long way. Congrats... and welcome to shelter B06-32." He picked up a cookie and popped it into his mouth. The kids all stared at him, shocked at his horrible manners.
"Are you Minerva?" Norman asked, being the first one to speak up.
"Nope," He denied. "Too bad for you, kids. I'm not William Minerva."
"Then please call him," Ray requested, looking irritated. "We came all the way here in order to meet Minerva."
"He ain't here, chum," the man said, his mouth full. "What a shame, huh? No Minerva's around here, at all."
