- Trigger Warning : mentions of drug usage and abuse -

The drive home was strangely silent, the other three men picking up on the mood and keeping their mouths shut. You sighed, the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry." You murmured, eyes trainees on the road. All the boys looked at each other in confusion. Marcel, who was sitting in the passenger seat patted your shoulder.
"(Y/n), you need to stop bottling up your emotions and pretending nothing's wrong." He said, his voice laced with concern.

Her eyes fell to the floor, looking at her bare feet in the cold wood.

"Come here kid." His voice was scratchy and raspy from the weed he smoked religiously. She shuffled forwards with a gulp, terrified of the man in front of her.

"(Y/n)?" Marcel shook you gently. You snapped out of your daze with a shake of your head. You had stopped the car in the middle of the road.

"Hop out." Porco said from the backseat, opening his door and jumping out.
"Huh?" You made a noise of confusion as he opened your door from the outside. You unbuckled your seatbelt and he picked you up and walked you over to the other side of the car, placing you down gently in his previous seat. He hopped in the front and started the car up before driving. He had the route memorised from the few times you've been.

"Talk (Y/n)." Said Reiner. He wrapped an arm around you and pulled you close to his side.

"I..." you started, unable to find the right words once again.

He kicked her down before twisting the bottom of the joint he was smoking into her skin, the ash painting an ugly dark blotch on her. She whimpered quietly, before hearing a shuffling noise. Her head whipped up in the direction of the noise to see two eyes, similar to her own staring back at her.

Her eyes shone with desperation and her lips pleading formed cries of help before the man pushed her head to the ground.

The boy in the doorway held her stare before turning away, his back facing his little sister as he left her at the wrath of the man they called their 'Father'.

"I thought you had left me." You mumbled.
"Hmm?" Colt hummed in confusion. No one spoke, they were all worried you'd lose your train of thought.

"I didn't want you to leave me. Like he did." You stared at your hands. "I know, it's stupid but in that split second you disappeared I was scared." Reiner stroked your head as you shook. You passed out within a few minutes, the boys using the time to explain.

"Oh." Was all Porco said once his brother finished explaining everything. He pulled up into the driveway and leant his head on the steering wheel. The three other boys thought it'd be best to leave him alone for a moment, all going inside with the shopping bags.

He sat there alone with his thoughts. The sun sunk lower, the cheery tones of the day melting into he more somber shades of night.

Reiner had laid you on the couch, Volt putting things away in their place as Marcel treaded upstairs, mind weighed down with his thoughts. He walked into the on suite of your room, kneeling on the floor to turn the tap on to draw you a bath. He murmured to himself as he checked the temperature. When he was happy with it, he emptied a bottle of apple-scented bubble bath in it and watched it foam up.

He thought about you. He thought about his brother.

You walked in as he sighed.
"Marce, what's up?" You asked kneeling beside him quietly.
"I'm just worried about you munchkin." He murmured in reply. You hummed and rubbed his back.
"Don't be. I'm fine!" As soon as the words left your lips he glared at you making your shoulders slump as you murmured an apology.

He pulled you into him; arms wrapping around you tightly as you clutched onto his shirt as if was a lifeline.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be that harsh."
He murmured into the top of your head. "But you do realize my brother will definitely be wanting answers, right? He doesn't really like to be left in the dark about anything." He continued, running a hand down your back in a soothing motion. You hummed and nodded in agreement.

"Of course if you don't want to tell him, you won't have to." Colt chimed in from the doorway. You looked up at him and he held his arms out. Separating yourself from Marcel, you hugged Colt.
"We all love you (Y/n) and we all want the best for you."

Porco was making his way into the car, thoughts running a mile a minute. He wasn't dumb and was able to put two and two together, figuring that something must've happened to traumatise you enough to the point that you freaked out when he left for two minutes. He sighed tiredly and dragged a hand down his face. Ignoring Reiner in the kitchen, he sat himself on the couch, a hand absentmindedly rubbing his face.

He was unaware of Marcel and Colt making their way down the stairs, whispering to each other.  Reiner sat down next to the thinking man, earning himself a glare and a small scoff. Reiner sighed, knowing it wouldn't be easy but he was going to try and get through to Porco, for your sake.

So at around about five-thirty, he cleared his throat and started speaking.

"Look I know we're not all that close but I think we should try to get along better. We're mature now and we're adults. I don't even remember what we used to fight about." Reiner wasn't really off to a good start causing Colt to face palm as Porco shook his head.

"Uh... (Y/n) has been through a lot. It kinda ended up with her being the way she is now; a little bit emotionally stunted. I guess her trauma and the fact that she wasn't really given a childhood is why she's so carefree now." Reiner continued, catching the attention of Porco. With the knowledge that he was getting somewhere, Reiner took a deep breath and carried on.

"She has a fragile mind and heart and it can often cause her to overreact or breakdown easily. She's quite delicate and she's someone I would protect with my life. She may open up to you, but you can't force her to. The best thing is to be there for her and let her know that you want to help. That is of course if you want to." Reiner added as an uncomfortable expression washed over his face.

Porco collapsed further into the couch.
"Thanks Reiner. And yeah. I guess I do want to help her. I messed around and got attached already."  Colt chuckled and made himself known to the two on the couch.

"Well look at you two having a heart to hear about our (Y/n)."he joked. Porco rolled his eyes and huffed.
"Where's my brother," he asked.
"In the shower. You should go too. The one down here is vacant." Colt replied. Porco nodded and went off to go have a shower.

When he was gone, Colt turned to Reiner. "Good job, you actually got through to him."
"We love the support." Was all Reiner replied with before the two started laughing.

________

A/n: Sorry if this story is moving too slow for you! I'm trying my best to develop the relationships and to explain the characters.

It's a bit hard as I have to kind of reimagine their personalities. Cause they wouldn't be the same as if they were in Attack on Titan, ya know?

Also about (Y/n). She has a very specific personality and characteristics as this was originally going to be an OC x Porco but I felt like it's be nicer to make it an x reader cause we all deserve some love!!!

Thank you so much all for the support!! I love reading all your comments and seeing people vote gives me so much motivation!! Also thank you to the ghost readers too! Even just reading it means so much to me!!

Take care my loves, and thank you!!!
