Too soon the day you dreaded was upon you. The day the fairytale you were living in came to an end.

It was about twelve in the afternoon when everything was ready for you to leave. And so looking through the window of your car, you stared at your house.

"Well, bye." You said, "I'll come again soon."

"Yeah but uh, not too soon unless I'm with you." Porco said as he hopped in the passenger seat.

"Clingy much?" Colt piped in from the back. Porco growled and you chuckled as you started up the engine.

"Alright, let's go home." You sighed.

"But it's like three days." Colt whined, Kurama whining with him.

"What the- Colt you actually brought it with you?!" Porco tugged on his seatbealt and swivelled around in his seat.

"Well yeah? She's pretty much reliant on me at the moment. When we get home, I'll teach her how to hunt!"

"You live in an apartment Colt." You reminded him and he looked sadly down at Kurama.

"Eh I'll figure it out." Colt shrugged. "Anyways, what are you planning on doing when you get back?"

"Sleeping. And mourning the loss of (Y/n)'s food."  Porco answered with a smirk. You nodded.

"Ah yes. You'll all go back to eating your two minute noodles." You said with mock disgust.

"Hey! I make a mean ramen!" Colt defended himself.

"Yeah no Colt. Putting an egg in it doesn't mean it's gourmet." Porco turned around and told the blonde.

"Come here Porky, I'll fill your anus up with cement." Colt reached to grab Porco who had bared his teeth and clenched his fists.

"Guys, do I have to pull over for you two to brawl it out?" You asked with a sigh, taking your foot off the accelerator slightly.

"No." The two both muttered, glaring at each other before calming down.

"You're like toddlers." You shook your head with a chuckle. "There's some chocolate in the snack bag that we can have."

"Ooh!" Colt exclaimed and rummaged around in a bag beside him. "Hey Porky-pie, milk or dark?"

"Dark." Porco answered, reaching back to hold his hand out for some.

"Uugh you heathen." Colt shuddered as he snapped some off for Porco. "(Y/n)?"

"Oh, dark is good thanks." You held up a hand out for some, catching the sight of Colt shaking his head from the corner of your eye. Eating your chocolate happily, you slid your sunglasses down and focused on driving. And of course blocking out the bickering of the two men you were stuck with for the next eight hours.

A very late lunch was consumed in the car as you drove. You, Porco and Marcel had prepared a bunch of sandwiches for the trip and you were thankful you did as you really just wanted to get to the motel for that night.

"How much longer?" Colt asked around a mouthful of bread.

"Four hours." Porco informed him. Colt groaned and fed a piece of chicken to his lap fox.

"(Y/n), you amaze me." Colt praised you. "Your patience and endurance for driving are gifts."

You rolled you eyes and chuckled. "I miss the good old days we'd just abuse Reiner's licence, not mine."
