"Stop it. Leave the fox alone." Colt said to Marcel who was staring at it with a disgusted look. "She didn't do anything to you."

Marcel looked skeptically at Colt before returning his attention to the little creature he was having an intensely one-sided staring contest with.

You watched them as you were cooking with Porco. Leaning over you asked "Why doesn't Marcey like animals?" Porco chuckled and leaned closer to you.

"One time we went to go visit our Aunt and she had a pet Pomeranian. Marcel was playing with it and it was all fine until it bit his... you know." You stood there for a second before blinking slowly.

"Really?"
"Yep."
"A Pomeranian?"

From his place by the campfire, Reiner let out a loud guffaw. You snickered at the imagine before lightly hitting Porco's chest. He smirked at having made you laugh, even if it was a small one.

"What are you guys laughing about?" Colt called out, turning around with the fox cub still on his shoulder.
"Nothing." You immediately answered making him look at you suspiciously. "By the way, what did you name her?" You redirected the conversation to the little animal.

"Oh, Kurama."

.
.

You were floating around in the water, eyes closed as you breathed in deeply, your hands fluttering lightly to keep you balanced. You were honestly quite exhausted and were dreading the drive home tomorrow. You had drifted off blissfully unaware of your surroundings.

Porco watched your floating figure like a hawk, ensuring that nothing happened to you. He was sitting on a rock in the water about ten meters away.

"You okay Porco?" Colt asked him, plopping down next to him, fox cub on his head. Porco looked up at the creature and cringed.

"I can't believe you named it Kurama." He winced as he recalled the name given to the fox.

"Naruto was a legendary show." Colt crossed his arms as he spoke defensively. "Anyways what's up? You look like you're thinking for once." Porco scowled at the mans words his eyes flicking to you momentarily.

Colt took notice of this and smiled.

"You're a pretty great guy Pock." He grinned, lazily draping an arm over his friend's shoulder, careful to not disturb Kurama. Porco growled,
"Don't call me that," making Colt snicker.

"Right but for (Y/n) it's okay." He rolled his eyes. Porco gave him a look that could kill, making Colt raise his hands in surrender. "Sorry man, just calling it like it is."

Porco elbowed the man not too gently before the two of them fell into a comfortable silence in which Porco continued to watch over you.

"You know, I think you might really be good for her." Colt murmured as he watched his friend's expression as you drifted across the water.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Porco questioned, eyes not leaving you for a second.

"I think you might be the final piece that can help her overcome her past." Colt elaborated on the topic slightly, but if still wasn't exactly clear to Porco.

"She's not like over it yet?" Porco asked. Colt furrowed his eyebrows and his friends lack of sensitivity.

"Bro she's been through some stuff. It's okay if she ain't over it." He defended you quickly.

"I didn't mean it like that! I was just asking!"

"Well your voice sounded condescending!"

"Jeez I didn't mean to. And that's a pretty big word for you Colt!"
