"Wow lass. I had no idea you'd gone through such shit." Chibs exclaimed.
She shrugged, "I survive the best way I know how. I've been on my own since I was fourteen and only had myself to depend on. I had to learn how to live on the streets."
"Did ya ever graduate high school?" Chibs inquired.
"No. Never got my license, never finished school, none of that. Surviving was more important." She stated.
"I'm sorry you've had such a shit life, Angelika. Maybe we can help ya finish school and get your license while you're here with us." Chibs offered.
"I don't know." She stated, "I don't know if my dad knows where I'm at, if he has anyone looking for me, or if anyone even cares that I still exist."
"We'll be here to protect you from anyone that comes sniffing around." Chibs replied as Happy came bursting out of the clubhouse door.
His eyes landed on Angelika and Chibs before he stalked over.
"You ok?" He asked her.
"Yeah. We were just talking." She replied with a shrug.
"She opened up t' me, Hap." Chibs stated, "I understand why you're so protective over 'er."
"She did?" Happy asked.
"Yes, I did." She quietly stated.
"You understand why I won't betray her confidence?" Happy sighed.
"Aye. And I won't either." Chibs told the pair.
"Thank you." She quietly stated as Happy moved to stand in front of her.
"I'm gonna go get a drink. Want anything?" Chibs asked making her shake her head no and Happy say no.
The Scotsman left the pair outside while he went to have a seat at the bar and get himself a drink. Hearing her life story made Chibs understand why Happy got so riled up over her. Why she had such trust issues especially with bikers and women. He hoped they could change her mind and help her while she was with them. Tig noticed Chibs had come back inside but Angelika hadn't. Juice was taking his shot so the SAA wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. Something heavy was weighing on Chibs' mind as he sat at the bar drinking. Tig wondered what was said outside.
"Are you sure you're ok?" Happy asked.
"It's...difficult opening up and rehashing everything." She sighed, "But physically I'm ok."
He cupped her face with his hand and began running his thumb over her cheek. She leaned into his touch and closed her eyes. It felt odd to her to trust someone and now she'd opened up to two of these bikers. Two of these people knew her secrets and dark past. Happy told her they should head back inside. If she wanted to head back to their room, he would follow shortly. She just nodded her head as she climbed off the table. Before she went anywhere, he pulled her to him and aggressively kissed her. It made her melt into his embrace. "I'll be in there in a little bit." he told her earning a silent head nod.
Tara watched Happy and Angelika walking back into the clubhouse and then the younger woman heading straight to the dorms. Happy stopped by the bar to talk to Chibs. She wondered what was going on since Angelika had been outside talking with Chibs. 'Probably banging both of them!' Tara huffed. She didn't like the biker slut and didn't understand how no one else saw what she did. The doctor didn't know how she could convince everyone else this girl was bad news for the club and their family. Suddenly an idea popped into her head and she began to work out how to pull it off. The first thing she needed was her husband's knife.
