"Gemma's probably going to take you shopping to start getting the house in order." Happy told her as they walked through the house once more.

"I don't know how we're going to afford getting everything we need." She sighed.

"Let me worry about that, little girl." Happy told her as he slipped his hand in hers and led her out the front door.

Once he locked up the house, they hopped back on his back and headed back to the clubhouse. Her mind was buzzing with all the possibilities with their new home. How she wanted to decorate, what all they would need, how she was going to get groceries since she didn't have a vehicle or license. Then she began to wonder how she would be getting back and forth to work? Especially on the days when he was out with the club on business until very late or even the next day? Would she just stay at the clubhouse or could she get a ride from someone else?

"Hey baby. How'd you like the house?" Gemma asked as Happy parked the bike.

"It was amazing. I love it." Angelika smiled.

"I'm glad. We'll go shopping tomorrow to start getting what you need to furnish your new home." Gemma told her.

"Thanks." Angelika replied with another smile.

Happy walked over to Jax who was talking with Chibs, Tig,Quinn, and Ratboy about a couple protection runs Unser wanted them for. Happyquickly offered to participate especially knowing a lot of the money he'd savedup over the years was about to disappear for the household items that wereneeded. Jax raised his eyebrow at the assassin but Happy remained quiet as hestared at his Prez. Jax finally agreed to let him go along with Chibs, Quinn, and Tig. Ratboy was a little hesitant to go. Seeing Happy volunteer for the runmade Chibs quite curious as to what was going on with the Killah.

The next day, Gemma took Angelika straight into town to start shopping for the house. Happy had given her a few thousand dollars to get a bedroom suite and some kitchen essentials so they could at least move into the house and be able to cook and have somewhere to sleep. She thanked him before she turned around to walk to Gemma's car. He swatted her butt making her turn around to glare at him. He just winked making her jaw stand askew before he waved her on to catch up to Gemma. She shook her head then turned back around to head to Gemma's car where the Matriarch was waiting for her.

The first stop was to get at least a bedroom suite. She had a budget of three grand to work with in getting the bedroom and kitchen stuff. Gemma nodded when Angelika told her the budget. They made it to the furniture store and climbed out of Gemma's SUV. The Matriarch followed the younger woman around as she browsed bedroom suites. She was starting to get discouraged until they made it to the back of the store. It was a beautiful suite and Angelika didn't understand why it was at the very back of the store instead of up front. The price was lower than she thought it should be so she asked a sales attendant why. It was a return she was told making her turn and look at Gemma who just shrugged. Angelika asked to see it up close so she was led back to inspect it. Nothing seemed wrong with it, there were no dents or scratches that she could see, all the drawers pulled out and in as they should and she didn't see any cracks in the mirror.

After her inspection, she told the sales lady she'd take it but needed it to be delivered. Paying in cash, she was shocked to discover they had taken off even more from the sales price so she paid a little over a grand for her bedroom suite. She set up a time for later that day for delivery. By the time they were walking out of the store, she was more than ecstatic. They could at least sleep in their own house tonight! Gemma laughed at the excitement on Angelika's face as they made their way to another furniture store. Gemma hoped she'd be able to get a living room set. Angelika was hoping not to go over her budget since they needed pots, pans, dishes, silverware, kitchen towels, a coffee pot, maybe a crock pot and she didn't know how much all of that was going to cost.

Gemma was sure they'd find a good living room set that would be within Angelika's budget but the younger woman wasn't so sure. They browsed around some. There were a few sets the blond liked but they were way out of her budget making her frown. She was starting to get disappointed when they started making their way to the back of the store again. It was marked down so she walked over to inspect it. Couch, love seat, a coffee table, and a chair. That should be enough for them for the moment. The sales associate walked over to see if they needed any help. Angelika asked about the set so the associate told her all about it. The cost was about fifteen hundred making her hesitate to buy it. That would only leave her with about five hundred to get all the kitchen stuff. Gemma reassured her that would be enough.

Angelika finally sighed and said she'd take it, that she was paying in cash, and she would need it to be delivered

Angelika finally sighed and said she'd take it, that she was paying in cash, and she would need it to be delivered. To her delight, they took off three hundred for her paying in cash. That gave her a little more of a buffer for the rest of her shopping. Once she had a delivery time for her new living room set, she followed Gemma back out to the SUV to head to the next store to get her kitchen stuff. The Matriarch began asking some questions hoping the younger woman would finally open up to her. To Gemma' surprise, Angelika confessed she'd never finished high school nor gotten her license. 'I should have figured that out with her being homeless since she was fourteen!' Gemma sighed. She promised to help Angelika with both those starting in the next few days.

The next hour was shopping for the kitchen, master bath, and bedroom. They'd need bedding, towels, and extra linens on top of all the kitchen stuff. Angelika grabbed a cart and Gemma grabbed a cart knowing they were going to be getting some bulky boxes of stuff. The blond felt bad spending so much of Happy's hard earned money but it was necessary to furnish their new home. She got two boxes of a dish set she liked that had four of each item in it, two packs of white dish towels, two packs of a generic looking silverware set, a set of collapsible colanders, a strainer, a set of collapsible measuring cups, various utensils, a coffee pot, a crock pot on Gemma's insistence, baking dishes, laundry and dishwasher detergent.

She smacked her forehead when she realized they had no groceries making Gemma laugh and tell her they could come back the following day and do some grocery shopping. She grabbed two bedding sets she liked that she thought Happy wouldn't mind since they weren't too girly looking. She picked up a dark red bathroom set, a curtain set (that had the plastic curtain for the inside of the shower and the cloth curtain for outside the tub), a small trashcan that went with the theme she had going, several towels and wash rags then sighed. This all was a lot of money and she hoped she had enough left over from getting furniture. Gemma told her they should hurry up since it wouldn't be too much longer before the delivery guys would be there.

Seeing the bill almost gave Angelika a heart attack but she handed over several one hundred dollar bills for her bill. She took her change and stuffed it into her pocket before pushing her cart out following Gemma. They loaded up her SUV before heading back to her new home. It still made her giggle to think she had a real home. She didn't mind staying at the clubhouse. It was much better than sleeping in a homeless camp or squatting in rotting, deteriorating buildings. But to have her own home, somewhere she could retreat to in order to get away from others. A place she could decorate and make her own. It was an odd feeling. A good feeling. When they arrived, Angelika opened up the door and smiled. This was her home.
