'Can I be someone good?'

That sentence always spiraled continuously inside Yuki's head. She hated the fact that her task was to push humans into doing negatives actions. It suffocated her heart every time she witnessed her fellow demons whispering hollow temptations, pressing humans who were easily swayed from their stance to hurt either themselves or and both the people around. Why would they seek satisfaction from other's suffering? But being the same kind, she still had to initiate her mischievous nature, though mostly all she was capable of were telling people to steal a pen and bring Tupperware to a buffet.

The two landed on a crowded amusement park full of laughter here and there. Eunseong glanced at the demon whose smiling widely with her mouth opened. She knew things like this would cheer Yuki up, not because of the extreme rides and mouthwatering snacks in every corner, but the bright faces plastered on the mortals' faces.

Just like as she learned from Eunseong's philosophy lessons, humans laugh and smile when they are happy. From that simple positive emotion, Yuki found her heart blooming every time she caught sight of someone with lips curled up high up to their cheeks. She could finally comprehend that feeling when she saw Eunseong laughing out loud on their first encounter.

The accidental meet-up began with the angel spotting Yuki having a hard time forcing someone to throw away a flyer he got from a marketing lady earlier. From that point on, their atypical angel and demon relationship had strived until now. Eunseong took the initiative to lock their hands together and roam around the place before Yuki's exposed feet remained glued on the cement below.

Time flew, the moon appeared brightly in the dark sky. They trailed behind the flock of humans exiting the once busking place and stopped at the exit to part ways cause the angel was obligated to return to heaven and pursue all the activities provided there the following day, such as school and moral training, while the demon opted to stay on Earth since she was never in the mood for watching people who sinned being burned nor dealing with the others playing wicked games for fun in hell.

Eunseong extended her wings, waiting for the latter to hop on. Every day, she would fly Yuki to her so-called home in the human world where she could rest peacefully without any bothers from the nasty group of demons. Feeling nothing but the air on her back, she craned her head only to found the younger staring emptily at the female guard on her post. Yuki noticed a single drop of tear falling to her cheek and weakly muttered,

"She's sad."
