Eunseong's eyes fluttered open, noticing the demon was still snoring, head resting on her shoulder. Of course, the immutable sky was as bright as ever. Sensing a movement, the angel checked on her side, finding Yuki to be half-awake, regaining her sense of time and space. The younger peered at the sudden presence that was empty earlier. Fully aware of the angel, she hastily pulled Eunseong into a tight hug. "You're here!"
The latter put up an annoyed face, sincerely worried for Yuki's well-being. The demon was witty enough to catch Eunseong's change in expression, quickly muttering an apology. Eunseong set a comfortable and playful atmosphere for them to chat along, not once bringing up her unwanted topic. Her ears perked up at Yuki's call, beckoning her to join her at the lake edge. Water splashing in her direction cracked her solemn gaze. Giving up to the demon's exclamation, she jogged to the lake.
Their playtime ended, Eunseong flapped her wings to dried the remaining water and collapsed her butt on the ground with Yuki. "Do humans really go to heaven and hell after they die?" The random question came out from the younger's lip as she dipped her bare feet on the water, eyes squinted at the beaming light from above. Eunseong took that as a mark to start her philosophy period. "I'll pass that to your imagination and logic."
Yuki wasn't expecting an ambiguous reply but she was intrigued in hearing more from the angel's perspective. "Humans have various beliefs, there's this split opinions about God's existence, even our existences are doubted by some. What if we're just a mere illusion that symbolizes good and evil? What if humans are actually the unreal one like a virtual world or crazier, a subject being analyzed by creatures outside of our galaxy?"
The younger's eyes widened her eyes, touching her head, torso, and limbs to make sure nothing was fading. Eunseong lowered her agitated hands and chuckled. "But that's what makes the whole universe a more enchanting and mysterious place, arousing everyone's curiosity. It doesn't matter what religion and belief one possessed as long as they're guided to a good spectrum of morals. No one knows what exists before and after the human form, although scientists have started to make discoveries about a dust in a limitless cosmos."
Eunseong swirled her legs in the calming water. The demon just understood that there are a bunch of loopholes still yet to be learned in the world, humans and theirs. Wondering about something, she asked, "What if we die then? Would we finally be able to see something unknown, maybe like we turn into a soul with no shapes, or- I don't know?" The angels didn't engage forward to her question, she stood up and offered Yuki a trip to fly low as far as they can. The purpose was so they could tour Earth and mayhaps this would be the last one, Eunseong wanted to cherish them in the best way possible no matter what the outcome would be.
