"You do know that doing bad things will result in you getting the same amount of bad things return to you right?" Eunseong began her period with a question to test the younger's comprehension. After her afternoon task, she promised Yuki to relish the scorching hot day with a refreshing cup of ice cream. Here they were, quietly occupying one of the public benches on the streetside whilst observing the busy work hour.

Devouring the last bit of vanilla, Yuki then replied, "The same with doing good things, isn't that just common sense?" Eunseong always found the demon's remarks amusing to hear, not a day was ever boring. "Most people call it karma. Now promise me that you won't move your butt off this seat despite what will be revealed before your eyes." Yuki pursed her lips, seemingly a bit hesitant on agreeing but she did acknowledge the angel for her wise decisions.

Eunseong herself understood how the world of demons works, punishment shall be granted for those who interfere with the angels' duties which included helping, doing good deeds, and commencing an action out of a demon's league. She also knew Yuki would stupidly move out of instinct if she catch someone in trouble, luckily Eunseong would be by her side to drag her away, just like now. Who knew what kind of horrendous stuff they would do, the last thing she wished was for Yuki to be exiled.

Two girls in their high school years could be seen chasing each other until one with the name Chaeyoung who had a skateboard in her grasp took a step on the highway. They were carelessly laughing, ignoring the incoming car from the back accelerating quite fast. Yuki was on the verge of sprinting there yet Eunseong's piercing glare prevented her. "She's going to get hit, help her please!" The demon begged but sadly received no response from the latter.

Yuki shut her eyelids tight, she could hear the friend, Seoyoung, shouting Chaeyoung's name in her eardrums. Unconsciously her hand was gripping Eunseong's wrist until her veins popped on her skin. The loud honk startled them and seconds later the older tapped her shoulder, signing her to open her eyes. The demon wasn't ready, she was terrified to witness the dreadful sight. Her imaginations ran wild, Eunseong could feel her body literally trembling in fear. Her breath was rapidly becoming inconsistent and her palms were flooded with sweat.

"Don't worry, trust me, open your eyes."
