Eunseong wordlessly headed towards the guard with the nametag Jieun on her uniform. Entering the tight space, she positioned herself behind the weeping girl, but still visible to Yuki, and spread her arms wide. The demon observed her friend intently. Eunseong then embraced the guard into a warm hug, moving her wings to cover Jieun with comfort. Yuki viewed as the crying slowly died down, she changed her orbs' direction to the angel who was winking at her.

Jieun patted her head, assuring today was only a bad day, not a bad life. For every night that passed, believe that there would be a brighter day waiting for you. With that, the guard departed from her post, strolling on the pavement to catch the night bus back home with a smile. Eunseong poked the demon's cheek to stop her from zoning out, Yuki was no longer pouting. They lifted off the ground to enjoy the breeze with the younger clinging on her back.

"What did you do to make her stop crying? Did you cast a spell? Did you use your healing power?" The curious little girl restlessly questioned the older. They arrived at an old building's rooftop, Yuki's safe spot. On the right side, a small shelter with a messy wooden canopy the demon built herself awaited for her. Under it were a bed and a small drawer to fit in her Ariel-covered notebook.

Before leaving Yuki alone, Eunseong didn't forget to end their philosophy lesson today. "Sometimes, a hug is all it takes for someone to feel happy and comforted." Without any warning, Yuki lunged forward and wrapped her tiny arms around the angel. "Like this? This feels cozy and good." Eunseong pulled her away after the short hug and nodded. "Now go sleep, we'll meet tomorrow afternoon." The demon jogged lightly to her bed while giggling. Snuggling herself under the blanket to protect her body from the freezing weather, she waved and mouthed a goodnight.
