Peeta's POV
The night of our wedding was blissful. Truly perfect. That was two months ago and I must say, the joy never really ended. Katniss and I took many trips to the meadow, just lounging by the lake enjoying the company of the other. But I've wanted something for a long time. I know we're still young, but the thought of children...well it just makes me complete. Don't get me wrong I love Katniss so much. Marrying her made the happiest I could ever be. But having children...that's just a bonus.

Katniss sits at the kitchen table chopping the vegetables for tonight's soup. Katniss isn't the best cook and I've been so busy with the idea of building back the bakery again that katniss has had to be cooking. Right now, I sit on the floor using the coffee table in the living room to rest all my plans on. Hopefully, the bakery will be open next year. I am currently working on the designs of the bakery with my friend Rusk as his bakery is also destroyed. We will open it together.

"How's work going Peeta?" Katniss asks. I look up from my work to reply. "Okay, but I'm just a bit distracted." Katniss looks confused. "By what?" She asks. This is the moment I propose my idea. I put down my pen and look at Katniss. "I know we're young and I'm not saying now! But..how do you feel about having children?"

I see Katniss' face drop. She puts down the carrot and walks over to me. She plonks herself on the sofa but doesn't speak for a while. I don't interrupt her silence as I let her digest this thought. "Um Peeta, I'm not sure Im just no good with children." She starts. I pat her thigh "I'll make us a cup of tea." I say to give her time.

I walk into the kitchen and start to boil the kettle. I add the milk then a teabag to the mug before pouring the water, which is the correct order!! Any other way is wrong.

I walk out of the kitchen carrying two mugs and settle them down on the coffee table. Katniss looks deep into my eyes. "I just feel guilty" she cries and slams her hands into her face. I try to calm her. "Shhhh, it's okay, you have nothing to feel guilty for." I wrap my arms around her small frame but she stands to face me.

"I do peeta! Im the worst person. You do everything for me. EVERYTHING. And I can't even give you the one thing you want." She slumps back down onto the sofa in a weeping mess. "Katniss you already have given me everything I want, I married you! That's a dream I had since I was only 5 years old and you married me. There's nothing more I could ask you. Children was just and extra. Besides, we do get to care for someone, we got Buttercup." I state with a smile which gets a smile out of Katniss. "Yeah?" She asks wiping away her tears.

"Yeah"
