 “I HAVE EGGS?!” I shrieked.

There, right where I was laying, laid 4 beautiful eggs, one of them just a plain white egg.

My eyes immediately shot to the first one, the three colored eggs seemed close to the appearance of a faberge egg, though the first one that caughtmy attention was the brightest one.

It was a golden ombre egg that turned from a mossy red to a pastel orange at the end, in the center of the egg was a bright yellow sun which the golden embroidery did not touch.

The next one was also an ombre egg with instead of golden embroidery it was a dark grey. The ombre went from a dark navy blue at the very top to a wispy white with flecks of blue at the bottom. In the center of this egg was a yellow crescent moon.

And the last one was the most beautiful in my eyes, the embroidery was a shiny silver. The embroidery went from dark blue, to a light blue, to a purple, to a pastel pink, to a white represent the various colors of a galaxy. In a few spaces, small diamonds were placed to represent the stars in the night sky.

Of course, in the center was a white 4 pointed star.

They appeared so delicate I was afraid to touch them, but I was even more afraid to let them stay at home in fear than someone would take them.

“But.. Who put them here?” I had never remembered EVER having these.

I crouched down and stared intently at them.

“I wish to be reborn as the person I want to be, the person I truly am.”

That was may wish but it surely wasn’t to give life to chickens.

Giving a haughty moan, I stood back onto my feet and made my way to my closet. Maybe if I ignore them, I’ll stop hallucinating.

I finished putting on my school uniform and still the eggs laid, bundled up together seemingly mocking me saying.

 ‘Haha! You can’t escape us!’

But this time it was a bit more odd, the key necklace that my father had given me had eerily ended up draped upon the plain white egg.

I stared at it for a moment before taking it’s silver chain within my grip and walking inside my bathroom where I could get a clear view of it. Looking at my reflection uneasily, I unhooked the necklace clasp and put the chain around my neck.

Then, I rehooked it once it was around my neck and adjusted it on top of my camera. Once giving it a look over, I took the key and tucked it on the inside of my shirt, so no one would see the ugly jewelry.

I looked over to where my eggs were, I’d have to do some engineering in order to hide those things.

After a few moment of glueing and sticking I eventually made a key chain where I could hide all of my eggs on the inside of my blazer.

Sticking the keychain in, I gave a triumphant ‘humph’ when I finally got it in and looked over myself in the mirror. Pushing my glasses up onto the bridge of my nose, I put on my backpack with my ballet things in it and headed out of my bedroom and towards the door where Busen was waiting.
