-- ACT I- Introducing Me --
{| Once upon a time, There was a girl who believed in magic.
A girl who thought that nothing was impossible.
However.. |}
A loud alarm clock echoed through my my ears causing my eyes to flutter open. Just as sunlight from my window flooded into my eyes. I groaned groggily as I sat up from my horribly straight position in bed. There were strands of my blonde hair blocking my eyes like crazy. So not perfect..
I clutched my fore-head in pain as I swung my feet over my bed and scooted closer so they could be met with the warming softness of my beige carpet flooring. "What did I do last night?" I spoke to myself, my voice still groggy. Then my blue eyes shot to my math textbook next to me with a bunch of notes shoved into it. I must've studied myself to sleep last night.
I got up onto my feet, dragging my math textbook along with me getting ready to leave my girly bedroomwhen I recognized the note on my door with familiar handwriting.
"Hey, pretty lady! I'm so sorry I couldn't be with you today- we have a very urgent meeting this morning and they're expecting me to lead the group. It's for the sake of both of us, okay?
-Mommy"
My eyebrows creased into a frown after reading the note, it's like she never had time for me. Well she is a millionaire fashion designer- no one can blame her.
Except for me.
That's right- my mother is Amaya Kurokawa. The world's best talent, yet the world's worst mother of me.. Haruka Kurokawa. Aspiring fifth grader. It was as if she wouldn't even notice me ever since my father left.
I had tried most of my life to get recognition from my mother- I've always tried my hardest to be the best but it seems like whatever I do, I am never perfect enough for my mother.
But there is one thing that I must be in order to please my mother..
A Guardian..
Guardians practically run the school
I lowered my head letting out a sigh, exiting my room, passing by the guest room, my mother's room, and the guest bathroom down the stairs and into our- or rather my kitchenwhere I usually put some dumplings or sausages in the toaster oven and devour them like crazy.
The first thing I saw when I entered in to the kitchen were my shoujo mangas. My face immediately glowed a light hue of red seeing that, even if no one was around me. I scurried to where the manga was on the counter- my mother probably saw it. I guess I'll never live this one out.
I looked down at it. It was called 'Mischievous Kiss', on the from cover was a bishounen boy looking off into the distance with a slightly average girl in his arms. I would NEVER admit it to anyone, but I actually wanted to be that girl.
The girl that falls deeply in love with a guy and pursues him until he falls in love with me. Then next thing you know, she sees him shirtless, and through some kind of fate they are brought together and he falls in love with her.
A slight squeak left my mouth at the thought but I quickly covered it. I wasn't that type of girl, not as much as I remember.
I was always the quiet and conservative genius.
Yeah..
I let out a soft sight as I took my book and threw it on the couch in my living room, I'll finish reading it later.

After I had finished eating I got dressed in my regular Seiyo Elementary School outfit;
A mandatory white button up under an also mandatory dark brown sweater vest. Under those two layers she wears a buttoned up, long-sleeved, v-neck, black blazer so you can see all two layers under it. As bottoms I wear a a plaid pinkish-reddish skirt, matched with thigh high black socks and brown combats to top it all off.
For my accessories I wear black glasses and I usually wear two long braids on each side of my face that reaches my mid torso. Around my neck is usually a camera. One of my collection of them. Something else I enjoy doing.
I owe it to my mother to the variation of he school uniform. I was never big on fashion, too held up in my schoolbooks. So she occasionally goes on her own and occasionally shops for me and teaches me how to style my hair. But it is nothing that I hold a great interest in.
I stop at my front door and look in the mirror, looking over my outfit once again, I neaten my buttoned blazer and my plain white backpack on my back. I take a huff before unlocking the door and opening up to the driveway and from porch to our flat. Where a car was waiting there to pick me up- or rather my chauffeur driver.

Just as usual my chauffeur, Busen, drops me off by the walkway where the shops were, Where other kids walked to school, not wanting to cause any commotion like some other wealthy kids did- I can't take the attention.
I exit the MAZDA with 'Mischievous Kiss' in my hands and begin to walk down the tiled sidewalk, content. The weather was awfully bright to begin with, so I could barely read my manga without the glare in my glasses. After 3 minutes of attempting to read my book, I close it and shrug. I'll guess I'll have to do without entertainment for now.
Though, the sun continued to bug me. It shined brilliantly among the inhabitants of Earth practically making anything seem heavenly. Even in a large town like Fujima did everyone look bright and happy. I admired the sun in all it's glory in a way hoping that I could have the such a bright outlook as it had.
While walking, my mind gets caught up with the different city views. There's kids joyfully walking and talking together, normal civilians on their phones or walking their dogs. And the buzz and chatter all around me made me feel- warm.
I absentmindedly grabbed my camera and lifted it up to my face, taking pictures of random people and filtering them after. I took one of a girl sitting on one of the benches listening quietly to her music. Then I took another picture of a group of friends laughing with each other.
I lifted my camera once more to take one more photo of someone when my lens bumped into the face of an annoyed girl. In which I backed away from, a pink haired annoyed girl appeared on my screen with the same Seiyo themed uniform as me.
I mindlessly took a picture and pulled my Nikon back to look at the picture and winced. "Yikes.." I said out loud, not realizing that the girl was there not until that familiar voice ran in through my ears.
"What do you mean 'yikes'?! And why are you taking pictures of people?!"
