Jaden pov

"No."

"Stop it."

"You'll get flour everywhere."

"Fucking throw that at me and I will castrate you."

"Wait. What does that mean?" I asked slightly in fear.

"You're adventurous, look it up." She said lowly as she stirred the tomatoes and meat sauce thing. Not going to lie, kind of regretting agreeing to trying something new.

I pulled out my phone and went to google. She's obviously not going to tell me what it means so I'll have to find out myself.

castrate
/kaˈstreɪt,ˈkastreɪt/
verb
remove the testicles of (a male animal or man).

My eyes widened at the definition I was given and I looked to Blair in pure terror.

"You wouldn't dare." I breathed out, sounding dramatically shocked.

"Oh wouldn't I?" She asked as she looked at me completely seriously. You fucking would you psycho woman.

"You are no fucking fun." I mumbled as I walked back over to sit on the counter next to her.

"And you just put your ass in the tomato juice you spilled earlier." She dismissed. I stood up and noticed that there was a bunch of red on the counter, but not as much as there was on my white sweatpants.

"You look like you started your period." She laughed out. She quickly took a picture before I could turn back around and showed me. She then turned away from me and started messaging someone. No doubt that it was my mom and now I'm going to get bullied after they created there own little inside joke about it that I probably won't understand.

"I liked these sweatpants." I complained as I went to sit down again before she stopped me.

"You can't fucking sit down, you will spread that shit everywhere. Take them off and fold them up and put them on the side, I will sort them out later for you. I know something easy that will get the juice out in no time. In the mean time, go and put on another pair of joggers or something." She explained as she put a lid on the pot.

"You want me to just strip right here?" I asked jokingly.

"Oh, don't fucking act like that idea bothers you now, considering the events that happened earlier." She snarked back at me. I chuckled and removed my SWEATPANTS, I folded them up and put them on the bar stool by the counter and returned to the upstairs to get another pair.

When I went up, I saw Blair's phone light up multiple times. I didn't want to intrude on her business, but as I picked up the phone I couldn't help but see the messages.

I couldn't tell who the contact was considering it was "That One" in her phone, but the messages seemed... off?

'Baby'

'I want you'

'I need you right now'

'Please babygirl'

Oh god. Please tell me she didn't cheat on someone with me.

I didn't know how to approach this situation. On the one hand if I confront her about it, she might get mad at me for reading the messages, but in the other, I risk getting played by her, and the other person getting cheated on. If that's the case.

I walked back downstairs with her phone in hand. I just decided I'll ask her about it and if she gets mad at me, then I'll explain to her I didn't mean to read them. As a psychology student she should understand that once a humans curiosity is peaked or stimulated, it is only in our nature to investigate.

"Hey." She pepped as I walked back into the kitchen.

"Hey." I mumbled back as I sat down on the stool on the other side of the island. She felt a shift in the atmosphere and turned around to look at me.

"Oh god. You look like someone died." She chuckled. "No one died did they?" She cut off her laughter when she realised the possibility.

"Okay. Don't get mad at me, because I didn't intentionally read them, but who is 'That One'?" I asked as I placed her phone on the counter. She furrowed her eyebrows, not at me, but at the messages.

"Have you met Jessica? As in Jessica Matthews." She asked as she replied to a message.

"Head of the cheer team? I mean I've seen her around. Can't say I've engaged in a conversation with her. Why?" I asked.

"Well because at this very moment in time, she is playing the psychotic ex girlfriend. I knew she always had a few screws loose, but I never actually thought she would get like this." She explained. "Don't worry. Before you continue to think it, because I know you've already started: I did not cheat on her with you, nor am I playing you. We broke up almost seven months ago." She cleared her throat before putting her phone back on the table and turning to the food again.

I am convinced this child is a mind reader.

"And no, before you say it I am not a mind reader." Fucking how!?

"How did you know what I was thinking then?" I asked cockily.

"Well normally when you fall silent and stare at me, you are usually formulating a stupid or easy question to answer. Either that or something sexual. So I just took a wild guess. And based off of you slightly scared expression when you were looking at me just made it easier." She explained as she got out wraps, and started to bring together the food she made.

"I don't think of sexual things." I argued. "All the time." I mumbled.

"There it is." She exclaimed.

"Jaden. We're home."
