*Hello Lovely Readers. I was wondering if anybody was willing to make a cover of this book for me? I'll give you credit and dedicate a chapter to you. Tell me your thoughts in the comment box. I hope you like this chapter*

"Christian....." I hesitantly trailed off. "What do you mean 'you're the one that told the police'?"

"I went into the station and told them they did it."

"What the fuck! Christian! Why would you do that!?"

"Because. They killed someone Sophia. They killed a father. A husband. A son. An Uncle. A friend. A leader."

"I understand that! But I did too!"

"I know. But you said you never touched the shovel. You said the rest of them did, but you only touched the tree."

"So? I killed that father. Husband. Son. Uncle. Friend. Leader. Too! And the police need to know that!"

"Why! You have your whole life ahead of you! You could change people lives. You're famous Sophia! This could ruin your career!"

"I don't care Christian! We all agreed that we would stick through this together! And I can't break that promise!"

"I can't believe you would do this to me! Whenever you've met Jane, Alyssa, and Lulu they have been nothing but nice to you! And how do you repay them? YOU SEND THEM TO FUCKING JAIL!"

I walked out if his room and slammed the door. I heard it open as I was walking down the stairs. "Sophia" he called to me. I just ignored him. I looked around the living room for my shoes. I found them next to the Sophia. A few tears ran down my checks as I put them on. Christian touched my shoulder. "Don't touch me!" I shrieked and jumped away from him.

"Babe. I'm sorry. I didn't realize it would effect you like that."

"Christian! If you knew anything about me at all, you would know it would effect me!" I continued to walk to the front door. As I opened it I looked over my shoulder and said "Also, I'm not your 'Babe'

I also slammed the front door as I walked out. And quickly walked to my car. I fumbled with the key fob and unlocked the car. I was rushing so much I could get the key to go in the slot right, I finally got the car to start as Christian was almost at my car, I looked in the mirror, backed out of the driveway, and sped off towards the ATM closest machine.

Quietly, I swore under my breath when I saw that the most I could withdraw was $350. I quickly, and quietly withdrew it and got back in my car and sat in it. Then I drove off to the police station.

I went into the police station and talked to a lady about bailing Jane, Lulu, and Alyssa out. She said the price was high, $2,500 for each of them. I cringed at the number and told her I'd be back.

At the bank when I took out the $10,000 the bank teller looked at me funky. I shrugged it off, I don't need to explain to her why I'm taking my money out.

Once I went back and bailed them out, they had to wait until their parents came to pick them up to leave. I stayed in my car in the parking lot and waited.

All their parents came at the same time. So they all came out together. I go out if my car, when they saw me, they came running over. "Thank you so much Sophia!" Jane cried. Lulu and Alyssa said the same thing. They all hugged me, crying.

"How did you have the money?" Alyssa asked me.

I sighed. "It helps being famous..." I forced a laugh.

"Hey look, I'll be right back!" I called over my shoulder as I walked towards the station.

'Maybe.' I thought.

I walked into the police station and asked the lady at the front desk who I could talk to if I wanted to turn someone in. She called a police officer in and told me to talk to him. His name was Officer Leh.

"Hello Sophia, what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"

"You know those 3 girls you had in here, supposedly killed that officer a few years ago?" I asked nervously.

"Um yes I do. They just for released in bail. Why do you ask?"

I gulped and took a deep breath. "Because........." 'Come on Sophia. You can do this!' I thought. "Because, I'm the one that killed the officer. " I blurted it out. It seemed like it was taking him hours to process what I said. Even though it was only a few seconds.

"Miss Lorah. What are you talking about. Your friends finger prints were on the shovel. Not yours." I sounded confused.

"That's because I was wearing gloves though!"

"Why would you be wearing gloves, but not your friends?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Because, that night we were planting a tree in memory of my friends Uncle. And even though, we all would be digging, I wore gloves because I just got my nails manicures earlier that day and didn't want to ruin them." I explained.

"Ms. Lorah. I'm sorry. But there is no evidence that you did this. I'm not sure what your point was with telling me this."

I wasn't quite sure what my point was either...

"Neither do I. I'm sorry I wasted your time Officer." I began to walk away

"It's fine Miss. Anyway, we're closing the case." He called after me.

I walked out front and saw everybody sitting. Their back to me. Somebody else was there too. A boy. I saw the car and recognized it immediately. "Shit" I whispered under my breath.

They heard me and turned around. The boy jumped up and started to run towards me. "Sophia!" He called. I ignored him and started walking to the right, where my car was.

I opened the door. "Sophia! We need to talk!" He touched back. "There is Nothing for US to talk about..." I snapped. After I sat down. I slammed the door shut, started the engine and sped away. I stopped around the corner and turned the car off. "You wanna talk? Maybe we should've talked before you told the police, you asshole." I thought.

I tapped my nails on the steering wheel. "How could this happen? Just yesterday everything was perfect. Christian came home from the hospital and was fine. Everything was as it should be. Today I wake up, find out Alyssa, Jane and Lulu are in jail and Christian is the reason why... How could he do this to me?" I thought out loud.

My eyes filled with tears when I saw the ring on my left hand on the finger next to my pinky. ''The Promise Ring..' I whispered to my self. ' I can't let this all fall apart because of one thing' I thought.

Then the waterworks began
