I was starting to feel a twinge of guilt about the way I acted earlier. My phone rang. It was Alli. I answered it on the last ring.

"You reached Sophia, I can't get to the phone right now, leave a message after the beep." I was praying that Alli would hang up and not want to leave a message. I heard her sigh.

"I know you are there Phia."

"I know." I bit my lip.

"What was wrong with you earlier. I basically had to pin Christian to the ground so he wouldn't go up there.

I hesitated for a moment. Then I told her the whole story about Cody from earlier that day.

"Phia. He had no reason to be hurt. He hurt you. He made it sound like your fault. That was just sick of him to come to your house today. He hasn't talked to anyone since we've been home."

Alli and I continued to talk.

"Alli, I'm sorry, but I can't. I just can't forgive him. I can't stand to be near him." A single tear went down my cheek.

Around 12:00am we hung up. I grabbed my book titled Divergent and started reading it. When 1:43 came I started feeling tired and I put book down an turned the tv on. Keeping Up With The Kardashians was on. I love this show. I then went down stairs to get a drink during a commercial.

I almost screamed when I saw Logan sleeping on the sofa. I shook his arm. "Logan!" I shook him again. "Wake up you lazy ass!" I whisper shouted. He sprang up and look startled. "Go up to your room." I moved my head in he directions of the steps. He gave me the finger and went up to his room. I couldn't help but to chuckle to myself. After I grabbed a bottle of water I sat on the sofa and watched 4 more episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians down in the living room. Then I watched an old re-run of Khloe&Lamar. I brewed a cup of hot chocolate with the keurig and took it up to my room.

The clock now read 4:38am. I wasn't the least bit tired anymore. My iPhone was plugged into my alarm clock. I unplugged it and plugged my Beats into my phone. I turned my rap playlist on, and jammed to the music until I saw that the sky was lighter. I took my beats off, and stepped out onto the balcony and sat in the white rocking chair. A light went on in my head. I ran into my room and grabbed my songbook and a pen. Then I returned to my rocking chair. I scribbled lyrics down onto the paper, so sloppy I could barely read it, but I still could.

When I was done writing the song I brought my guitar out and I wrote the guitar part for the song. I looked at my phone and saw that the time said 6:00am. I sighed. Dan left for work half an hour ago And my mom should be leaving now. I looked in the drive way. Dan's car was still there, which meant my mom was still here too, since she parked in the garage. I think about the date and the day of the week. Monday. They both work today.

I run into Logan's bedroom. He is sleeping there. I wake him. "What did I ever do to you?" He whines. "Why aren't our parent's at work? I quietly hiss at him. He looks surprised. "Dad should have left half an hour ago." He informs me. "Yea, I know. My mom should have left now. But both of their cars are in the drive way." He looks worried. We stand out side our parents' bedroom door. He mouths 'one,' 'two,' 'three.' On three we push the door open. Empty. Their room is completely empty. We search upstairs, The deck on the roof. The main floor, and outside, Then we look in the basement, and even the game room and in home theatre. We give up and are about and call 9-1-1, when Logan finds a note on the counter.

Logan and Sophia,

Dan and I are at the hospital. Don't get worried. Nothing major has happened. Get ready for school just like you would any other day. We will be home by the time school is done. If anything changes, I will call both of you.
