Barely Friends (Unlikely Friends sequel)

Chapter 32- I'm Sorry.

I woke up to pounding on my door and Logan yelling telling me to get up.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?" I yelled at him as I swung the door open.

"Well, Cody is here because evidently you two are going out today. And I thought I should make sure you know that." 

"Shit. Tell him I'll be ready in 20 minutes." I slammed my door shut.

Quickly, I brushed my teeth and hair, then I put my hair in a bun. I put on denim jean shorts, and a black crop top, found flip flips, and put water proof mascara on.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Cody sitting on the chair, watching something on tv.

Logan walked into the kitchen and showed me his phone screen, he had his notes open and he had typed, "When are you going to tell Cody?"

"I don't know. maybe today..maybe not." I whispered.

"Hiya!" I walked into the living room and jumped onto the chair next to Cody."

"Good morning sleepy head." He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"How are you feeling?" He looked concerned.

I wasn't sure if he meant because I had just gotten out of the hospital, or because of the baby.

"Um..okay..better than yesterday."

"That's good. So, are you ready to go?"

"Yep. LOGAN! CODY AND I ARE LEAVING! TELL SOMEONE WHO CARES!" Cody and I walked out the front door.

"Where are we going anyway?" I asked him as we got into his car.

"You'll see." He smirked.

I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Haven't we done everything that has yet to be done here?" I asked Cody as he drove towards the boardwalk.

"Nope." He pulled into a parking space.

Only now, I realized that it was past noon.

"OMG! We're going to Funland?" I practically screamed as Cody and I walked towards the amusement park that was built on the end of the board walk.

Cody paid for our bracelets that allowed us into the amusement park part of the boardwalk.

After we went on a few rides, and a bit of playing in the sand, Cody and I decided to get some food, I was dragging him to the corn dogs.

"Tonight's been really fun." I told Cody as we sat down next to each other on a bench.

"I'm glad you think so." Cody kissed my forehead after I leaned it on his shoulder.

We just sat there, looking at the stars starting to appear in the purple, blue sky.

My phone vibrated in my pocket.

From-Sam: How are you feeling.

I quickly locked the screen, put my phone back in my pocket and could feel my face going red.

"Did that say Sam?" Cody sounded angry,

"Um..no. It was Jane..She uh was just checking up on me to see how I am."

He nodded his head.

"I'll be right back. I need to find  the bathroom." I lightly laughed, kissed his cheek as I got up, and walked away.

When I knew I was out of Cody's sight, I took my phone back out and called Sam.

"Hello?"

"What the hell was that about?"
