summers PoV
I was lying awake in the hospital room I had mum asleep in one chair and my big sister in the other. My dad had been avoiding me theirs something their not telling me and I need to find out.
----next day----
Dad and Kim walked in dad had red eyes as if he'd been crying "what theirs something your not telling me and I need to find out."I screamed "you've got a brain tumour stage 2." Kim said "see mum i told you the world hates me ."I said crying "or maybe it just keeps giving me Illnesses so that you two finally talk to each other it's not hard. What ever happened is in the past so just cut it and be like normal parents."
I got out my phone and decided to text grandad(that still fills weird)
Me -I could use someone like you to talk to when are you coming home?
Grandad👴- soon sweetie
Me -soon isn't good enough
Grandad👴- next week I promise
Me -alright see you then
"Summer."my mum said waving her hand in front of my face "me and your mum have thought about what you said and have decided to go out and talk about things and arrange what's happening for your birthday next week."my dad said "next week what"I said I then looked at my phone it was the 26th of January I was passed out for ages
