Hey babes! Did y'all miss me? 😛 So I know I kinda been MIA but whew chile I have been going through a lot!!! This pandemic really changed how 2020 went for me. I went through 3 different jobs before deciding to go back to school so there's that. I'm in grad school y'all! I honestly didn't think I would ever write another chapter for this book, my writer's block has been crazy. Y'all prob noticed I took both books down. I guess I'll be putting them back up! I apologize for disappearing on y'all and I'll try not to do it again. No promises lmao.

Waking up nestled in Devonte's arms was heaven. He had the perfect arms for cuddling, muscular and firm, but the way he held me close to his body was tender and loving. Of course, I woke up before him. I took a moment to admire him as he slept, but it didn't last long. He must have sensed I was awake because his eyes fluttered open.

"Wassup." His deep voice still had sleep in it. But he didn't give me a chance to answer because he shifted and captured my lips with his. Instantly, I recoiled.

"Don't be kissing me with that morning breath!" I said giggling.

"Damn. You finna do me like that? You my future wife it's supposed to be til death do us part." He caught me by the waistband of my sleep shorts.

"Yeah, death, not breath," I retorted.

"C'mere." He wasn't trying to let me get away. I gave up struggling and relaxed back into his arms. Of course, his hands slipped down my back until he was massaging my curves. It felt amazing. The tension that had been building up over the last few weeks had me stressed out. But of course, just being around Tae was relaxing. Damn, I loved this man.

"Whachu doing today boo?"

"It's my lazy day. So nothing really."

Saturday was either a lazy day or errand day for me, and I had already decided once Tae said he was coming up it was going to be a lazy day.

"Lazy ass. Better get up and be productive." He started fishing around for his phone. When he found it, he did a double take. "Damn, it's only 9? I guess you not that lazy then since you wanna be up with the birds and shit. Lemme see if Armon awake." A few seconds later the phone was ringing with an incoming FaceTime.

"Good morning!" Armon was beaming in the camera.

"Good morning but why you up so early?"

"Rise and shine!"

"Good morning Armon," I said, leaning in.

"Yaz! Good morning!" The camera started shaking and for a second all we heard were noises in the background, then a thump.

"Baby, don't drop the phone. Here." It was Renee's voice.

Then Armon reappeared. "Where you?" He scowled at Devonte.

"I'm in Indiana, with Yaz."

"I wanna go to your house."

"Okay, of course when I get back. I'm not at home."

He frowned. "Go home."

"I will but it might be a few days. I'll let your mommy know when you can come over."

"Ok." He smiled. "Love you. Bye."

"Love yo-"

But the Armon already ended the call.

"He's such a grown man," I laughed.

"Too grown. You seen how he hung up on me?" Tae said, shaking his head. "Think he running shit."
