my mom arrived home about 20 minutes after i had called her and she immediately wrapped felix in a hug. he had just woken up so he was confused about why she was there, knowing that she wasn't supposed to finish work until much later.

"changbin called me sweetie." my mom said before felix could say anything. he slowly nodded his head, holding onto my mom even tighter than before. he started crying again but his sobs were silent. it broke my heart to see him like this. he had been through so much already, now this? what has he ever done to be treated like this? felix is just a boy who needs love in his life!

"b-binnie..." i heard felix's voice.

"yes lix?"

"j-jisung... is he still at s-school?" felix asked. i can't lie, i felt a little jealous when felix asked that. i don't know what it was but i feel like the 2 were getting too close for my liking.

"school finishes in 10 minutes. why? do you want him?" i then asked. felix nodded his head and i quietly sighed. "ok, i'll call him when school finishes."

"t-thank you binnie." i left the room after that, leaving felix with my mom as he cried on her shoulder. i felt really bad for felix. how did the man even get in? i know felix said that he broke in but there was no signs of a forced entry. the cameras surrounding the house also didn't catch anything so even if we had a chance to get the man locked up, there wouldn't be any evidence, just our word against his. i sighed again and ran my hand down my face as i walked into the kitchen. i knew that felix's throat would be sore so i got a bottle of water out of the fridge.

i slowly walked back up the stairs and when i got to felix's room, i could see him dropping off to sleep on my mom's shoulder. i walked over to the bed, placing the bottle on the bedside table. i then ran my hand through felix's silky hair, making him open his eyes. i smiled and grabbed the bottle from my side and handed it to him. he thanked me and took a few sips. when he handed me the bottle back, i screwed the lid back on and felix wrapped his hands around my waist. i wrapped my arms around his shouldres in response as my mom went to go change.

"i'm sorry lix." was the first thing i said.

"for what?" he asked. i looked into his red puffy eyes as i spoke.

"if i stayed here, this wouldn't have happened. i promised you i would protect you but i broke the promise." i said, sniffling a bit at the end so i couldn't let my tears spill. i felt felix's grip on my get stronger and i placed my head on the top of his.

"it's not your fault binnie. i told you to go. you couldn't have known that this would happen." felix said. i slowly nodded my head when my phone started vibrating. i looked at the caller id and saw that jisung was calling. i quickly answered. (changbin normal, jisung italics)

"changbin, why did you run out of school?"

"can you come over?"

"why, did something happen? is felix ok?"

"i'll explain later but felix needs you."

"ok, i'm on my way. is it ok if i bring the boys?"

"sure, just be quick, please?"

"ok, we'll be there soon."

"thanks ji."

jisung hung up and i put my phone down with a sigh.

"jisung?" felix asked i nodded my head and felix sat up.

"he's bringing the others too, is that ok?" after receiving a nod, i smiled slightly. felix then walked to the bathroom and locked the door without saying anything.
