passing by the fresh faces, all lined up with brave young cadets, y/n magnolia followed behind a man with graying hair. his hands were behind his back as he held a calm smile on his lips. "that guy hasn't changed at all. do you think he writes in majuscule?" y/n asked the man in front of him.
roughly two years has already passed since the initial fall of wall maria. people were slowly healing, but that didn't mean that their fear of titans abated. y/n was feeling much better, and the scar on his face proves it.
his eye wasn't damaged badly, so he was lucky he wasn't blind on his right eye. but there was still that huge, ugly scar on the right side of his face that represented his little brawl with the military police.
just as he promised, he raised the young estelle, giving him his last name as proof of his formal adoption. estelle grew from a frail and timid young boy, to a tough-as-nails teenager, whose only soft spot is reserved for his beloved father.
