estelle said, his forehead touching eren's as he stared straight into eren's eyes. there was a murderous glint behind those blue eyes. they'd turned into an ugly, and murky black color, no longer disguising the anger and bloodlust that estelle had been hiding.

"you've realized it too, haven't you?" mikasa asked again.

armin looked away, feeling bad for eren. to have two of the scariest people in the 104th to be talking you down like what they're doing to eren, the intense pressure they were letting out was horrifying, like a real-life nightmare.

"annie is the female titan. you know why you have to fight, right?"

"if you don't do this, you'll die. i'm sure the military police would love to escort you straight to the gallows."

"or could it be... that there are certain, special feelings that are stopping you?"

eren looked at mikasa in shock, disturbed that mikasa would even dare to think that. "is that why you were so protective of her, huh, eren?" it was estelle this time.

"enough! we're running out of time." armin drew his blades. "i have a plan; mikasa, estelle, and i will exit at the same time. she'll have to come after one of us, so eren, you'll have to make a run in the opposite direction."

estelle nodded, standing up. mikasa does the same and readies her blades. "wait! that'll mean that one of you will get killed!" eren exclaimed, looking from mikasa and estelle, to armin who already had his hood up.

"better than the three of us dying." estelle snarkily comments as he helped mikasa button her cape. "all right, i'll climb out of the hole." he said.

"i'll go down that way." mikasa says, pointing in one direction. "i'll head this way, then."

she sprints away, followed by estelle. "mikasa! estelle!" eren called. armin dashes away without another word. "armin!"
