Y/N MAGNOLIA STOOD ALONGSIDE THREE OTHER GARRISON OFFICERS, WITH COMMANDER PYXIS IN FRONT OF HIM, TELLING THEM THEIR MISSION.
"you only have one mission; which is to protect eren jaeger at all costs." commander pyxis looks at y/n, who didn't seem too happy about working with garrison officers.
the military police are corrupt. the garrison are drunkards. the scouting regiment are suicidal maniacs.
if it were up to y/n, he wouldn't join any of the military regiments, but he's a part of the scouting regiment now, so he really didn't have a choice. and with trost the way it is now, he can't do anything but force himself to work with the other regiments.
he was all out of cigarettes, and that put him in an even worse mood than before. "i hope you can get along with your fellow soldiers for just a few hours, lieutenant magnolia." y/n looked up at the commander.
he clicked his tongue and looked away. "fine." he mumbled. the three other garrison officers shared looks of reluctance. two of them were officers who accompanied officer woermann earlier, so they witnessed, first-hand, how utterly terrifying y/n magnolia truly was.
ian dietrich was an officer of the garrison. he was the officer who accompanied commander pyxis on the day when y/n magnolia attacked a group of military police soldiers. he chewed off their fingers like they were some sort of candy.
the only silver lining they could see was that they were at least on the same side. but a single misstep, and that wouldn't even matter. he did just cut someone's hand off after all.
being with a moody, rabid dog like y/n magnolia was like treading on thin ice, especially for officers of other regiments.
"eliminate any risks that may arise during the operation. no, that doesn't mean you should kill a fellow soldier, lieutenant."
y/n rolled his eyes.
"this will probably be the most dangerous and difficult mission of the entire operation. it's not an exaggeration to say that your actions out there will determine the fate of all mankind."
