Letter to Someone you've drifted away from

Hi Karthik,

You are the first friend when it comes to boys. whenever I hear leap year , I remember you. I still remember how you confused me when I asked about your birhtday , you said your birthday just comes once in 4 years and in rest of the year it just lasts 59 seconds.

Man, you are lucky that you born on feb 29 . we did schooling together till 10th standard and are so close as you and your family resided in my nieghbourhood.  but your dad got transferred and you left me without even informing me. too bad. I was upset for about a month I guess. but then I moved on as I find some new friends. I also think you did the same.

hope you and your family doing well. I heard that you are now in Madurai. I wish we could meet one day and catch up on our good old days.
