‼️:implications of panic attack
‼️:mentions of physical abuse~Dream POV
We've been up for a few hours now. A normal day really. I wanted to go out to the market and buy George some things but, he said he wasn't feeling well. Like he felt sick, but we checked his temperature and he wasn't.
So I decided to stay with him instead. We've been cuddled up on the couch for quite some time now. Watching Disney movies like there's
no tomorrow. And although his fight for Lion King being the best one still stands, he's warming up to Tangled."okay.. i get the imagery thing. it's really beautiful."
"i told you!"
"but! lion king's still the best.."
"i'll convince you.. one day."
"one day."
As the movie reaches its end, George grabs the remote ready to turn to another one.
"what're you picki-"
"lilo and stitch"
I let him be excited, he's wanted to watch this one with me for a while. Since I haven't watched it before. I love these moments. The little ones. I can't help but notice all of our firsts.
Our first vacation, our first Disney marathon, our first slow dance. They're all with him.
Once he's put the movie on, I focus on the beginning dialogue. This is a very complex movie for children. But I still enjoyed it.
In the middle of the movie George received a text, his phone was beside me so I was about to hand it to him but instead he asked me to see who is was from.
"random number.. just says 'hey'."
"can i see?"
I hand him the phone, and he shrugs when he sees the series of numbers. Not knowing who was texting him.
"one of my friends must've gotten a new number.."
I went back to watching the movie, George showed me his phone and the message he sent read "who's this?". They haven't responded yet so I waited.
But when I turned to George after I heard the notification he dropped the phone. Then immediately shut his eyes tightly.
"george? hey!"
I try to rub his back but he flinches at my touch. I can hear his breathing start to hitch. He's panicking. But yet I still don't know why. So as I say calming words to George I pick up the phone.
The text read 'how are you, princess.'.
Princess?
Princess.
Frankie. Frankie called him princess when we were at George's old place. Shit. I set down the phone resume my attention back to George. I try to grab his hand which is now covering his ears. He flinches again.
"please don't hurt me!"
"georgie i... i wouldn't. it's me okay.. it's dream."
That doesn't seem to help so at this point, I'm lost. I hate seeing him scared like this. I quickly block the number.
"george.. i blocked his number, you're alright... i'm right here."
~George POV
The memories of him are back.
He used to call me princess before hitting me.
Frankie.
I feel someone touch my hand.
