Jackson had somehow convinced me to go on a double date with Caleb and Skailer in order to help repair our relationship, though I really don't believe it'll help.
"You look cute" commented Jackson looking at the black dress I was wearing as I frowned at him
"Thank you" I mumbled
"Where's Skailer?" he questioned
"I'm not her keeper" I stated, the words sounding angrier than I intended for them to, "I don't know where she is"
"Okay" he said as Caleb emerged from the staircase with Skailer behind him, wearing his favourite white hoodie and a pair of ripped jeans
"Good morning" said Caleb making his way into the kitchen with Skailer, who didn't even bother to acknowledge my existence
"Looks like you had a good night" commented Jackson, suggestively as everyone turned to him
"You're disgusting" I stated before sitting down next to Skailer, "Hey"
"Hey to you too, Richards" she said as Caleb placed four bowls of Coco Pops infront of us, "Thanks"
"So where exactly will this double date be?" I questioned, grabbing my spoon and placing it into my bowl as Jackson took the seat besides me
"That's for us to know and you to find out" stated Jackson as my attention moved to Caleb and Skailer who seemed completely lost in their own world
"That's not what I said" chuckled Caleb as she ruffled his curly hair
"Whatever you tell yourself buddy" she smiled before kissing him gently and taking a spoonful of Coco Pop's
After everyone had finished their breakfast we headed out to Starbucks, the boys heading to the counter to get our orders while Skailer and I picked a booth at the window.
"We're going to an amusement park" said Skailer, her attention fixed on her phone, "I convinced Caleb into telling me"
"How did you-" I questioned, a smirk playing on her face as I stopped myself, realising what it could be, "Nevermind"
"It's not what you think. I just promised I'd help him with something" she said as I nodded my head, "Which reminds me, I got my dad to come to Caleb's game Friday. I can't promise he'll offer him a scholarship, I mean that all depends on how well Caleb plays but-"
"Thank you" I said, cutting her off as I took her hand, "Caleb's been working his butt off and this is going to mean the world to him, you're a good girlfriend"
"Thank you" she smiled, squeezing my hand lightly, "I missed you"
"I missed you too" I chuckled
"I got the drinks" smiled Jackson appearing at the table with a tray of our drinks and placing it infront of each other of us
"And I payed for everything" said Caleb, sitting down next to me, since Jackson somehow decided he was sitting next to Skailer
"I'm a good friend that way" smirked Jackson, earning a glare from Caleb, "Anyway, the big reveal. We're going to.... drum roll please-"
"The amusement park" I said cut him off with a bored expression as I lifted my drink, taking a swig from my straw
"Who- Caleb, seriously man?"
"I was literally with you the entire time" he pointed out
"I told her" said Skailer, an amused smile on her face, "and Caleb can't keep a secret from me, all I had to do was ask"
"Actually your promised we could-"
"Keep talking and we won't" she smiled threateningly as he held his hands up in surrender
"You're so whipped dude" said Jackson, giving Caleb a look of disbelief as she shrugged
"So amusement park" I changed the subject
"I want a stuffed animal" announced Skailer, all eyes turning to her in amusement, "I've never had one, so I want one"
"I'll get you one" chuckled Caleb as she gave him a sweet smile before turning to me
"And I'll win you one" she said as I rolled my eyes playfully
"Sure, King"
