Weeks had passed since I'd seen Skailer and my life had changed for the better. I had gotten on A on my photographer project thanks to her because turns out she took that picture of herself.
Caleb though still not seeing anyone was so excited about getting into UCLA that he didn't care about dating, though we were all pretty sure he was still pretty hung up on Skai.
After denying his feelings for Ian a little longer, Alec finally asked him asked him out and much to no one's surprise they started dating.
Jackson and I, well I was really sure what was going on there. We had gone on a few dates and hung out alot but that was about it.
As much I hated to admit it, none of this happened without Skailer King because as I had said at the start of it all. Nothing interesting or worth remembering had ever happened to me until I met Skailer King, the girl who turned my life upside down.
"I got into NYU" I frowned, placing the package onto the island, "And Harvard and CALArts"
"Yeah, I'm missing the depressing part of all of this" stated Caleb, giving me an amused smile as I let out a groan
"I don't know which one to chose. NYU has a great photography program but according to Lila that's where Skai is going. Harvard, I know completely nobody and CALArts, I'll be close to you and the guys but I can't decied whether that's a pro or con" I stated, running my hand through my hair
"Back up, since when did you and Lila talk?" he questioned as I shrugged, "And since when was she friends with the one that shall not be named"
"She's been super nice lately so I decided to give her a chance and Skailer isn't Voldemort so calm down, turns out they've been friends for a while" I explained as he nodded his head, dropping the subject
"From where I'm standing NYU is your best option, what are the chances of you two even picking the same major?" he questioned as I raised my eyebrow, wondering how dumb this person could actually be
"She's a photographer, she's going to pick photography" I pointed out as he shook her head
"She's going to pick music. Trust me" he said, grabbing his car keys, "I know Skailer and I know she loves music more than life itself so yeah"
"I'll think about it" I mumbled
"I have to go, I promised Ian I'd help him plan his picnic surprise for Alec. I'll be back in an hour" he stated as I nodded my head, watching as he exited the room before my eyes wondered over to the island
"Of course he left his phone" I stated as I leaned forward grabbing the phone as it buzzed
Skai:
I'm at the café
My blood ran cold as I read the text. Why the hell was my brother meeting up with her, after all she put us through, all she put him though, why would be do that to himself?
I got knocked out of my thoughts when the front door opened, causing me to slide Caleb's phone back to where it was before.
"I left this" he stated grabbing his phone as I silently nodded my head, "You okay?"
"I'm great, you?"
"I'm fine, I guess" he shrugged before checking his message, "I'll see you in a few"
"See you then" I said as he exited the kitchen once again, my mind starting to race
Caleb lied to me and for some reason I was sure whether I was mad or not because this was the first girl he had ever loved and me judging for not being able to let her go would be stupid because some part couldn't either.
