Trouble In Asakusa Town (Chapter 16)

"Look, she's waking up."

As you open your eyes, you see Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki looking at you.

Tamaki: (Y/N), are you feeling better?

Y/N: W-What happened?

Shinra: You passed out back there, back at the bridge when you stopped Akitaru and Benimaru from fighting.

Arthur sighs.

Shinra: Arthur was worried for you as well, he believed that you were poisoned.

You look over at Arthur who was glancing back at you with protective concern.

Y/N: Thank you Arthur.

Arthur nods back formally.

Tamaki: So, (Y/N) were you tranquilized?

Y/N: Yeah. I was tranquilized.

The rest of the Fire Force Company come in, alongside with Konro, who walks in with herbal tea. The rest of Company 8 enter as well.

Drinking up herbal tea, and clearing up your throat, Akitaru and Hinawa started to asked some questions.

Akitaru: (Y/N), where'd you get that recording from?

Y/N: Konro and Benimaru.

Konro: I don't recall ever saying that.

Benimaru: Me either.

You replay the recording.

"That little act you did back there. That was good, Benimaru."

"Yeah, just to kill off Kantaro."

"It was a good idea for you to put that funeral up today."

"It's a way we can Infernalize more people. We can cover it up with the funeral, and no-one would bat an eye."

Konro: I don't remember us saying that. Not at all, I wasn't even walking around at the time.

Benimaru: Let's see if we can assess the situation.. Takehisa, Akitaru. When I saw you two, where were you two actually?

Takehisa: The captain and I were both at the store, stocking up on a few essential supplies that we recently ran out of. We informed Fire Soldier Maki before we left.

Maki: Yeah. They told me.

Shinra: Hold on. He didn't mention anything about this store to me. He told me to go and ask Captain Shinmon to meet him and the Lieutenant in that alley.

Benimaru: That's right. I agreed and then headed Obi's way.

Akitaru: Only I don't remember ever saying that.

Benimaru: Are you trying to fool him too?! I'll ask the store clerk for confirmation. You.

Benimaru points at you, you try and act calm as you sip your tea.

Benimaru: We'll need to discuss about the situation in private. 

He whispers as he helps you up.

"I still don't trust your Captain, but if you have the evidence of us, you might as well explain your side of the story as well."

Benimaru goes back to questioning your condition.

"Can you walk?"

You get out of the futon and stretch.

Y/N: Yes sir.

Benimaru: Good.

You follow Benimaru out of the building.
