The Bond That Keeps Us Together (Season 1 Epilogue)

(A/N): The original ending, to those that love Shinra!

Shinra can be seen walking down the hallway as he waits near the entrance. The three girls walk past looking over at Shinra as they asked what he was doing.

"Ah, I'm just waiting for (Y/N). We were planning to go hangout together today."

"You both are going out together?" Maki asked as she smiled. "You two lovebirds have fun then!"

"I-It's not-.." Shinra sighed in defeat, remembering what Maki did.  "Have fun you three."

Maki leaves with Iris and Tamaki as the three leave the Cathedral. You finally catch up to Shinra a little while later as the both of you leave the Cathedral.

"So, what's on today's agenda?" you asked, walking alongside him.

"Since the amusement park doesn't open in a couple of hours, how about we head over to the arcade?"

"Ah, an arcade?" you took a moment to think about why he wanted to go, until it popped up in your mind. "Is it because you want to see if anyone beat your score on "I Like it Hot?"

"You caught me." he said it bluntly.

"I'm actually curious too, who do you think would beat you in that dancing game?"

"I'm not sure, but thinking about it excites me."

You both arrive at the arcade, as you got on the dancing pads, checking the high score for a certain song.

Shinra - 1,000,000

(Y/N) - 975,000

Ogun - 875,000

Ju - 500,000

"See? No one has beaten you yet."

"It's amazing that you almost got the max score (Y/N)."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Amazingly close to beating me." Shinra teased you.

"Oh, it's so on, Shinra. I'll reach the high score this time."

"Then let's do it!"

The both of you got ready to dance to the rhythm of the game.

"Hahhahah.." you said, panting and sweating. "D-Did you see that Shinra?!"

"Yeah I see.." Shinra said, smiling at you, "It seems like you finally beat this song at eight stars."

The both of you needed to cool down a bit before heading over to the festival, but before you could do anything else, you got up and walked to a different machine.

"(Y/N)? Aren't you gonna take a break?"

"Nope."

"Then what are you going to do?-"

"Sing."

"S-Singing? You sing?" Shinra said in awe, surprised.

"Yeah I do. Why?"
