[HIATUS-ish] From Zero to Inferno (Fire Force X Reader)

Author's Announcement, Ideas, and Updates!

Jesus. After what, 4 years?! (HOLY SHIT IT'S BEEN THAT LONG?!) I've finally finished season 1 of Fire Force! Yayyy. Apologize for the long, long, overdue delay. I've been trying to balance both my hobbies and my major in Computer Science, as well as improving my lifestyle since I'm just at the age where everything is just giving me problems with my health. Either that or stress has finally caught up to me.

Also, I plan to re-write some of the chapters due to some things that need more specifics. I think some of you know what parts I need to edit, as some of those chapters were also written at 3 or 4 AM in the morning.

I want to also apologize for the voting poll system not working out, so I'm going to try to work on them as soon as I can. 

Here's what chapters are in progress and what chapters are still in the planning phase.

In Progress: Infernal Education (Spicy Content w/ Hibana and Shinra);  Eternal Trust (Shinra x Reader);  Aren't You Lucky? (Tamaki x Reader)

Planning: How To: Destroy Your Soul! (Benimaru x Reader) 

(I'm gonna put a HIATUS-ish tag on the title, meaning that I'll be working on the chapters above for this fanfiction before the full HIATUS tag is out)

I've been a bit burnt out about writing this fanfiction for a while now, but it doesn't mean it's over yet! I've been wanting to work on with some other projects for a while now, so I'm gonna shift a bit more focus on that for a bit.

I am also working on a rough outline of Season 2 for this fanfiction, and am excited to share the story with you all once it's ready. I am hoping that the next season is more consistent on uploading compared to how I've been uploading the first season. 

In the meantime, I will also be working on my other fanfictions that have been ignored for a while now, such as [Unordinary x Reader] and a revamp of one of my other fanfictions, [RWBY x Reader] (RIP Rooster Teeth).

Lastly, I wanted to share some ideas that have been thought of, but not executed! There were other choices I could've went with the final part of season one, but it did seem interesting! Maybe you all might want to write a fanfic about Fire Force some day, and in the meantime, I hope I would be able to read more fanfics about them!

(Warning: If you have not read the Epilogue scene, please refrain from reading the SECOND IDEA, it contains major spoilers!)

- First Idea: (Y/N) becomes brainwashed to join the Evangelist.

This was one of my first ideas that I wanted to implement into this story, and it was going to be part of the main storyline plot! From our poll though, things have changed towards a different outcome. But, since it's a neat idea tho, I kind of wanted to see what the perspective of an Evangelist would've been, what the interactions between (Y/N) and the team, especially with Haumea (although a bit annoying). As you seen from the end of Chapter 26, There would've been more bonding moments with Haumea and understanding why she acts the way she does around everyone. (yo, lmk if there are any fanfics out there with this idea. I would love to see it)

- Second Idea: "Catch you later, Devil's Advocate."

This one was tempting, but I decided to be against this ending, as (Y/N) would've actually died in a fight! This view would've shifted straight towards the ACTUAL (Y/N), changing the story narrative.

- Third Idea: Saving Sho Kusakabe!

First off, this would HUGELY derail the plot from Season 2, as the goals are so much different now! But basically, As Sho is rescued by Company 8, we are given some Family moments with (Y/N), Sho, and Shinra. Moar lifestyle changes and filler, how Sho would interact with Arthur, and how his perspective would be changed. We also get to have a show-off later in Season 2 and Season 3, where he would find Arrow and reunite with her.

- Alternative Meetup in the Tunnels - (Y/N):

Alternatively, while (Y/N) was alone in the tunnels, she would find an operable train that was somehow functioning. Using her Lighting powers gained from Haumea, she would power it up and drive the train. Thanks to Vulcan she understood the controls of how trains accelerate.

This leads to the final battle of the season, where (Y/N) would crash the train to stop the Evangelists from kidnapping Sho.

This showcase was just made to show that the animators made Maki a gorilla in the impact frame! (You can see this in Season 2 Ep1). They be doin Maki extra dirty.

This was a photoshop image I made for a scene (which has been scrapped). Basically, this would be the thoughts of (Y/N), overwhelming Haumea.
