A Family Reunion! (Chapter 25)

"The one who summoned me, the heavenly champion, down to earth.. was you, Lieutenant?"

Arthur stands on top of the pile of rubble that collapsed under him as he holds his Excalibur in his hand.

"I don't have to explain the situation to you, do I?"

"No. His face was exposed then, but he's the one from Vulcan's workshop."

One of the two enemies walk back as he asks his partner.

"Mirage, if you could?"

"So it's you.. I'll bring you down with my shimmers."

As Arthur walks down in front of Mirage, the area quickly disperses into mist, as clones of him can be seen in front of Arthur.

Without a second thought the enemy attacks Arthur but vanishes once it lands. Arthur stands in the mist, still focusing on hearing the breath of life.

I didn't sense the weight of life in that attack.

Arthur readies his Excalibur as he deeply inhales, his eyes glowing bright blue with fierce attitude.

Concentrate. If I feel the life around me, I won't get worked up.

I am now multiclassing, with the samurai abilities I've developed.

A knight-samurai.

Focus. Being a knight-samurai would make me a samurai, wouldn't it? Wait- no.. I've got it in reverse..

A samurai knight.

Arthur closes his eyes and has a quick glance in the training he had back then, applying it to this battle.

There's more to it then meets the eye..

"Be ready to detect the breath of life."

The breath of life, trying to take my life.. The breath of life trying to take my life..

The small slither of a breath is heard as Arthur immediately opens his eyes, pulling out his Excalibur.

IAI- CALIBUR!!!

He slashes his Excalibur right above Takehisa, as he then sheathes his Excalibur back.

Takehisa nearly fainted from his attack and berates Arthur.

"Hey, you! Are you trying to kill me because you heard my breath?!"

"Don't jump to the wrong conclusion Lieutenant. I am a knight samurai."

A knife falls down to the ground behind Takehisa as he looks back.
