"Pain Tolerance Experiment?"

Back in the room after you and your friends were dismissed, Akitaru and his team question Victor about your past.

Akitaru: What do you mean by that Victor?

Victor: I already told you in three words, Pain. Tolerance. and Experiment.

Takehisa: Elaborate on that, Victor. What was the goal of the experiment?

Victor: The goal of the experiment was to see if Hajima could improve the subject's pain tolerance. (Y/N) was the only one who volunteered for the program.

Hibana: What? Now, why would (Y/N) do that?!

Victor: Now, I wouldn't really say "volunteered" but more of peer pressured.

Akitaru: Peer pressured?

Victor sighs.

Victor: Hajima Industries either sacrifice multiple children or if someone volunteers, they'll take that child and experiment them until they're a bit "tired".

Takehisa: Tired? You mean killed, don't you?

Victor nods.

Victor: Alongside that, Giovanni was the lead in this project.

Hibana: Wait, Giovanni?

Victor: Yes. Giovanni. This was his first project in the experiment.

Hibana: What did he do to her?

Victor nervously sweats upon the angry gaze of Hibana's.

Victor: W-Well, you see, Hajima is ruthless when they wanted to see their results..

Takehisa: So what happened?

Victor: They did everything they could to get the results of the experiments.

Akitaru: What kind of sick bastards are they? Do they really think humans can be conducted like lab rats to them?!

Hibana: It's more than that. They use them as human fodder.

Akitaru: Tch!-

Akitaru stops himself from breaking the table with his raw strength.

Takehisa: Is (Y/N) mentally well? I know she at least made it out of the experiments physically okay, but is she mentally okay?

Victor: As you can see, she's well and healthy, but she doesn't remember any of this happening.

Hibana: So, Hajima must've brainwashed her, didn't they?

Victor: Partly.

"She made the choice to brainwash herself."

- Back in the present, inside the Workshop -

Giovanni closes the door behind him, walking towards Vulcan.

"Stand down Lisa. I'll take it from here."

Giovanni: You have two options Vulcan. You can die this instant or you can tell me where the key is first. Choose.

Vulcan: G-Giovanni.. Fuck you.
