~Flashback~
Harry was sat beside Alexis on her twin bed they had just finished packing up to leave
"Now when we get back I don't think we should..." he struggled for words "let people know about our 'relationship'" he frowned "I mean not relationship but-" he stopped "I mean not that I'm embarrassed or anything" he groaned "not that there's not a relationship I just-"
"Harry" Alexis cut him off cupping his face "Baby you sound like you're gunna swallow your tongue"
"I feel like it" he frowned
She giggled "lover boy I can read you like a book you don't have to say a word" she slid a hand down to pinch his cheeks to make him pucker like a fish "but I do so love to watch you struggle" she let go
He chuckled "lover boy?"
"Mhm you've a bunch of nicknames I'd only ever give you" she blushed he gave her a warm kiss
~End Flashback~
Alexis walked through the French doors straight into Harry's office and sat herself on his desk he sat himself back he put his pointer finger to his temple and the rest to his lips "yes... yes... yes..." she hummed
'Who is that?' He mouthed
"Okay I love you too yes auntie loves you too dumplins" she looked at Harry "oh yeah he's right here" she pulled the phone away from her ear "it's my sister tell her hi" she stuck her phone out to Harry
Harry sighed heavily "hi Melissa how are you?" She told him hi and said something else Alexis couldn't hear "good and the kids?" Another answer "good" he looked up Alexis "oh she is... great I can't wait to see them again" he cocked an eyebrow "they call me what?"
Alexis laughed knowing... they call him big scary
Harry frowned deeply and gave Alexis her phone back Melissa instantly asked what happened with Harry "nothing he's fine love you too bye!" Alexis hung up
"They hate me" Harry said
"They do not hate you" Alexis reassured him
"They call me big scary for christ sake! Is... is that why Matthew was crying last time he was over?" Harry frowned deeply
Alexis pouted back to show him she cared "No I told you he didn't feel well I was watching him so Melissa could work an extra shift"
"He only cried when you made me sit with him"
That was true "He can cry for multiple reasons" she had to prove she wasn't lying but maybe not telling the whole truth
she started again "and to be fair his father is horrible so he doesn't like men and to double on that his father is only 5'8 so you're the biggest man he's ever seen" she pursued her lips feeling that wasn't enough so she added "Nora likes you"
"She calls me big scary too" he wasn't so easily persuaded
"Well only because her big brother does, but she likes you"
"She hides behind you when I'm around"
Alexis waved a hand "She does that with everyone even with the Santa at the mall don't take it personal" she then bit her lip "Emilia likes you too"
"I'm her uncle I've been around her since she was in the womb" Harry scoffed
Alexis clapped smiling widely "excellent point! see she is accustomed to you lover boy she adores you because she knows you, it's only been a bit over a year and my niece and nephew have seen you maybe 3 times"
