84|Nanny Services

Alexis's pov

I smiled as Harry lifted the covers slightly slipping under them beside Nelly

"Hey little one" he cooed leaning down giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek "did you miss daddy mm? I missed you"

Nelly is now 4 days old and today was the first day Harry had been back to work he obviously only went in for half the day though

He looked up at me and tapped his lips I leaned in kissing him tenderly "I missed you" I cooed

"I missed you too" he reached up grabbing the back of my neck "I hate leaving you both"

"Well I'd like to-"

"You're not coming back to work" he cut me off

I grumbled "why not?"

He let me go and leaned up on his elbow "Baby girl why do you wanna come to work so bad huh?"

"Cause I want to be with you" I pouted "we could do it, I could bring a crib into my office and let her sleep in there with me"

"Just stay home for a few more weeks darling" he cooed

"But- but don't you need help? People are still-"

"If you really what to help I can get you to work from home and we can FaceTime through the day how's that?"

I sighed "better"

"Good girl" he cooed

There was a knock at the bedroom door we turned "come in!" I said

Mrs.Short stepped in "Mr.Styles, Ms.Dixon do you have a moment?"

"Yes what's up?" Alexis asked

"Well... I haven't heard anyone mention it and I'd like to steak my claim before there's any effort put forth" she stepped closer "I'd like to offer myself up for Nanny services as well"

I raised my eyebrows before I could say anything Harry said "Mrs.Short we haven't discussed having a nanny and I don't think we will" he looked at me "will we?"

"No" I shook my head "at least not right now" he nodded back then looked toward her again

"We aren't hiring anyone new either" Harry added

She nodded "well maybe not a full time nanny or maybe not nanny in the formal sense but what I mean is I'd love to help with the baby in anyway I can" she looked at Nelly laying between us a smile gracing her lips "I insist on helping actually"

I smiled "oh Mrs.Short you do so much already I wouldn't put any of that on you"

"No no please do" she frowned "it's been so long since I got to take care of children and I miss it dearly"

I awed in response "well when you put it like that I'd be happy to share the baby" I laughed

Harry looked at me "thank god you hired her" he looked back at Mrs.Short "I'm so lucky to have wonderful help like yourself Mrs.Short"

She smiled "Mr.Styles you're by far the best employer I've ever had and Ms.Dixon it's an absolute pleasure to work for you"

I put a hand on my heart "Mrs.Short you're too good to be true" I could tell Mrs.Short was trying to crane her neck ever so subtly to try and see the baby between us I looked down at Nelly "come see her" I invited

She quickly walked over to my side of the bed and leaned over "goodness gracious look at that sweet little baby, and Nelly oh I love that name" she cooed

Harry smirked, he was getting cocky his name got picked

"While you're here Mrs.Short why don't you help me with something" Harry hummed

"Of course sir"

"Alexis wants to go back to work, and I mean right now, what do you think about that?"

Her jaw dropped and she looked at me

I scowled at Harry "Ms.Dixon!" She hissed and lightly hit my arm "Why would you want to do that?!"

"I just want to be with Harry" I frowned

"And what about this precious little bundle of joy?"

"She'd come with me" I pouted

"So what I'm not good enough company? I can pull my hair down and take a sharpie to my arm would that help?"

I burst out in laughter looking at Harry who was biting his lip to hold back a chuckle of his own I looked back at her "mm stand on a step stool and you've just about got it"

She looked at Harry "I am surprised that you're taking the logical step here and not trying to move your office home with her"

Harry then stated seriously "I offered to FaceTime her for the day"

"You 2 are sickly in love I tell you what" she crossed her arms

"Well if we weren't we wouldn't have Nelly" I smiled

"Mm that is true" she nodded "I'm going to finish up with lunch hollar if you need me"

"Alrighty" I agreed Harry had sneakily scooped up Nelly and put her on his bare chest his hand taking up her whole back he kissed the little bit of dirty blonde hair on the top of her head

I laid down getting comfy "you sure you're alright with her sleeping in here?" I wasn't comfortable enough with her sleeping in the nursery on her own yet

"Yeah Dear whatever you want" he said no hesitation

I kissed his shoulder "I'm gunna go shower"

"Alright my love" he said rubbing up Nelly's back looking down at her adoring her

I got up and walked into the bathroom stripping down I turned the water on making it near scolding hot before I stepped in

A nice hot shower is defiantly what I needed I'm still so sore I stayed under the water just letting it flow over me for a moment just enjoying it

I shaved and washed my face before moving onto shampoo as I went to reach for it I jumped the curtain was drawn back and there was Harry tugging his boxers off

"Where's Nelly?" I asked

"Mrs.Short jumped at the chance" he reached a hand in "you've always got the shower so damn hot" he got in grunting "this is comfortable for you?"

I nodded turning around I wrapped my arms around his neck pressing my front to his "now where were you?" He asked

"Shampoo" I smiled

He nodded and grabbed it "I can't let my Baby mama feel neglected now can I?" I shook my head no as he started to shampoo my hair

"I wasn't jealous" I whispered

"No but I miss you... your body" he messaged at the base of my neck for a moment making my eyes flutter shut "I know you're hurting" he clarified "but I just want to be close to you" his eyes met mine and I could see how deeply he looked into me not just my body but everything I had to offer he wanted

I laid my cheek against his upper chest "I love you"

"I love you more my darling" he said as he continued to wash my hair
