"No Melissa I'm fucking serious" Alexis rolled her jaw "she's lucky she was pregnant I swear to god I would have smacked her"
"You can't do that to his sister!" Melissa hissed
"Oh fucking bet I will!" Alexis shook her head "she broke his heart Melissa I watched him, I saw the color drain from his poor face" she started to blink rapidly "shit I'm tearing up just thinking about it" Alexis pressed the back of her thumb under her eyes so her makeup wouldn't get ruined "it was god awful"
Melissa sighed softly "it is really bad, is he okay?"
"For the most part" Alexis sniffled "he stayed home today which I can't blame my poor Baby"
"No not at all" Melissa cooed back
The driver pulled up at the gate "I just got to the gate at home I gotta go"
"Okay I love you"
"Love you too" Alexis hung up as they pulled in
Hanley parked and before Alexis could slip out he stopped her "Alexis?"
She froze "yeah?"
He was turned around in the drivers seat to face her "I didn't eavesdrop or anything but I just- the boss is okay right?"
"Yeah he's just hurt right now" Alexis sighed
"Not to be rude but... I like him a whole lot more since you've been in the picture and I just don't want him to be like 'that' again ya know?" He bit his lip hoping that wasn't too far
Alexis smiled softly "well he's okay I'll make sure of it" she slipped out and walked to the front door retrieving the keys from her purse which reminded her ,when the time is right, she'll have to ask Harry if anyone found her keys yet she's still been driving the Audi and it's been nearly 2 weeks now
She got in and put the keys on the wooden structure by the door then locked all 3 locks "Mrs.Short!" She called out taking off her heels
But Mrs.Short didn't come
She furrowed her eyebrows "Mrs.Short!" She said just a touch louder she spotted a note on the counter and walked over

She dropped her heels and picked up the note unfolding it
Mr.Styles has sent me away today, he's just very upset right now
I didn't get a chance to start cleaning your room or to start on dinner I'm terribly sorry I will make it up to you
I know you've been wanting nachos so I'll make them first thing tomorrow :)
Alexis set the note down and walked to the fridge looking for something
She pulled out the Oreo cheese cake peeling off the foil tossing it in the trash she grabbed 2 forks and shoved them in grabbing 2 water bottles before heading down the hall
She knocked on Harry's door "Lover boy?" He didn't answer "oh my Adonis?" She hummed still no answer she pushed her luck and just opened the door
Harry was sat on the floor his back against the end of his bed he was slumped over with a bottle of everclear in hand and a bottle of jack Daniels a bit less than half full laying on its side next to him all his lights were off and his curtains were covering his window preventing even the natural light
