Harry's pov

As we stood outside Niall's door I couldn't help but stare directly at Alexis's a*s in her bikini

"Hey!" Niall answered excitedly pulling Alexis for a hug "long time no see babe" he hummed stepping aside to let us in

"You too! I thought I was gunna die from the dramatic lack of Irish accent in my life" Alexis teased

"You heard that mate she prefers the Irish" Niall grinned very cockily

"The Irish mm?" I asked cocking an eyebrow "maybe so but she certainly gets excited for the British Invasion" I kept walking as if I hadn't said anything at all

I heard him call back "Fuckin shit mate!"

I got outside setting our bag down under one of his umbrella covered tables Alexis was talking to Jennifer ,who decided she'd rather be top half naked apparently, and her girlfriend Delilah ,who was wearing a yellow bikini (both pieces of it)

Niall asked us to come hang out by the pool today just a little get together

I could smell the food his chief was preparing on the grill on the other side of the yard

I stepped beside Alexis "where's Emilia?" I asked first and foremost not seeing her around

"My mother has her for the day" Jennifer smiled "how have you been?" she held her arms out to me for a hug but I stepped back

"I'm just going to remind you you're topless and so am I before you do that"

Jennifer nodded "mm noted how about this" she kissed my arm

I nodded "that's fine" I put my hand on Alexis's shoulder messaging it "how are you?"

"Good" she giggled and hugged on her girlfriend "Delilah this is Harry you remember him right?"

I held a hand out to her "we've met in passing once or twice" she shook it

"You weren't dating her then were you?" Delilah looked Alexis up and down

"No"

"Yep that's probably why I don't remember" she laughed

"D! She's off limits!" Jennifer scolded

Delilah rolled her eyes "I'm not going to do anything I'm just saying... I would have remembered him if she was on his arm that's all"

Jennifer rolled her eyes "she can be so coarse" she then looked back at her girlfriend and shook her head "try some subtlety D" she flicked her hair off her shoulder "I'm grabbing a beer" she started off and Delilah turned

"Did you of all people just tell me to be subtle?" She followed her

"They seem nice" Alexis laughed "almost like a married couple"

I nodded in agreement then asked "wanna drink or something?"

"No thanks I'm gunna take a quick dip" she sat on the edge of the pool and slipped in

"Harry!" Niall was sat down I walked over and sat next to him

"Can I asked you something right quick?" He asked quietly

I nodded "of course" I frowned at his sudden seriousness

"So Uhh Jennifer and I were talking the other night when we finished and we're laying in bed together" he frowned "she said she wanted another baby"

"With you?" I clarified

"Yes" he shook his head "I dunno what to do..."

"Well do you want another kid?"

He sighed heavily "I mean yeah I have nothing against the idea but I would have never asked her for another kid if you know? I wouldn't ask that of her so I never entertained the idea of having another kid"

"So what's the problem?"

Niall quickly motioned toward Jennifer and her girlfriend "I can't do that she has a girlfriend!"

I frowned deeply "is her girlfriend not okay with that? I mean you sleep together and she doesn't mind"

"Yeah well there's a difference between an open relationship and me getting Jennifer pregnant on purpose" he sighed heavily "Jennifer said she hasn't even talked to Delilah about it yet because she wanted to ask me first" he tossed his head back taking a long drink of his beer "I don't know what to say"

I nodded scratching at my face for a second as I thought "that is some shit there" I mumbled "you want a kid though so I'd just say yes"

"But I don't wanna break them up over it" he groaned "I don't wanna be responsible for ending their relationship!"

"Tell Jennifer to ask Delilah first before you give an answer" that seemed like the smartest thing to do

Niall nodded "I thought about that I just didn't want her upset with me for putting her off but I'm gunna have to"

I nodded back "yeah that's your safest bet"

Niall looked down at his beer bottle for a moment in deep thought "do you want kids?" Niall looked at me

"I wear protection most of the time and Alexis is on birth control so I don't even have to think about that"

He frowned "does she want kids?"

I hesitated to answer "yes she does"

Niall sighed and set his beer bottle on the ground next to him "you think she'd be upset if you told her you didn't want kids?"

"I didn't say I didn't want them" I corrected

"And I said if"

I rolled my jaw and watched Alexis as she was hanging on the side of the pool talking to Delilah "maybe" I looked at him "but I'd give her anything not to leave me"

"Sometimes I regret letting Jennifer go... but I couldn't give her what she wanted" he frowned deeply "I'm just grateful she has someone like minded"

He was happy he could still treat her like his girlfriend even though she wasn't

"Honestly if Alexis asked for an open relationship or she'd break up with me... I'd do it" I shook my head "but I'd sabotage it any and every opportunity I got"

"I don't wanna do that to her I just want her to be happy" Niall frowned

I rolled my jaw "I want her happy but I want her happy with me"

Niall looked at me furrowing his eyebrows "don't you think that's selfish?"

I huffed a laugh "you think I care?"

Almost as if she heard me call her over Alexis stepped up to me "you look hot Baby" she gathered up my hair running her fingers through it and tied it up in a bun "better?" She asked a bright smile gracing her face

I looked up at her grinning "yes darling" I grabbed her hips the water dripping down her body rolling over my fingers I pulled her closer I tapped my lips with my finger she giggled holding my face she leaned down kissing me

"Mine" I mumbled against her lips

"Mine" she hummed back giving my lip a little nibble
