Harry was in the hospital bed with Alexis ,Alexis quickly figured out regardless of how small a bed or chair was if there was an opportunity that he could lay with her or pull her onto his lap he would
Alexis had the baby in her arms she was feeding her for the first time
The events of only a few hours ago seemed days away now, labor had gone so smoothly Harry was by her side the whole time holding her hand cooeing sweet nothings to her as she pushed
All of that was so worth it when their little girl came out screaming making the doctor chuckle and say "well her lungs work just fine"
She settled soon after that and hadn't made another peep except a very tiny whine of hunger
Harry was kissing on Alexis ,her neck, her shoulder, her cheek, her temple, just slow lazy loving kisses to show his appreciation "I love you" he hummed so warm and gooey it was almost like he spoke with honey "so beautiful " he pulled up the blanket on Alexis making sure she was comfortable "so amazing"
Alexis was so drunk on bliss from finally having her little girl and from how sweet Harry was being she laid back making Harry's lips disconnect from her she looked at him "I love you" she cooed back
He cupped her cheek and gave her a deep passionate kiss Alexis pulled away feeling the baby was done she pulled her off and Harry opened his arms Alexis passed him his daughter so he could burp her "isn't she lovely?" He asked as he laid the bundled baby on his shoulder
She nodded pulling up her gown covering herself "I've never seen a more beautiful baby"
There was a knock, that would be their friends
It was now 10 am they waited awhile before inviting their friends to come ,just to settle and have time to themselves
"COME IN" Alexis yelled
Niall opened the door and Jennifer shoved it running over to the bed "ooooh!" She squeaked
Niall held the door open for Brandie and Melissa before stepping in for himself closing the door
"look at her!" Brandie stood beside Harry leaning down to see the baby's face
"What's her name?" Niall asked standing beside Jennifer who was on Alexis's side
"Nelly Love Styles" Alexis smiled
"Oh so Harry's name won?" Melissa asked
"Mhm she... she just looks like a Nelly" Alexis shrugged
Harry finished burping her "who first?"
Jennifer opened her arms but Alexis said "Melissa go head" Jennifer frowned deeply her arms sagging back to her sides Alexis grabbed her hand pulling her down slightly "I just don't want her to forever bring up the fact I let my friends hold my baby before her, I just want to keep the peace"
Jennifer nodded "but me next?" She pouted
"Sure" Alexis giggled
"Okay" Jennifer chirped
Niall sat beside Alexis's legs and rubbed her lower leg "are you alright?"
Harry told Niall about last night so he's currently the only one in the room that knew but him asking if she was okay wasn't going to give anything away or flash any red flags
Alexis knew what he meant "I'm okay" she nodded "she's okay"
He looked toward Nelly "my little niece" he watched Melissa pass Nelly over the couple Jennifer leaned down so Niall could see her "oh look at those eyes!" he gasped as she blinked
