Alexis's pov

I walked to my office as I stepped in setting my bags down I noticed the French doors weren't open

I frowned deeply

I walked over opening them he wasn't here, He wasn't here yesterday either

I opened my phone checking my email I had instructions from him about what he wanted me to do today

I responded asking him if he was okay and if he needed anything

I asked him the same thing yesterday and he never responded but I really did expect him to be in today

I stepped out of my office and walked to the closed desk "Hey Marylin sorry to bother you can I just ask you something right quick?"

She looked up at me "sure what's up?"

I glanced at her computer seeing she was also reading an email from Harry but a less personalized version that was sent to the floor "Has Harry ever done this before?"

"Done what?"she asked

I motioned to his office "he's not here again"

"Oh Uh yeah last time he was out a whole week but he emailed us everyday... he didn't say anything when he came back though, but no one could get a hold of him while he was out" she shrugged

I nodded "okay thank you"  I walked back to my office I started on my tasks which was cancelling and moving appointments I got worried after about 2 hours in he still didn't answer my email

I called him ,which I didn't attempt yesterday, I got no answer

I tried one more time still nothing

I bit my lip I need to check on him he just isn't the type to not come to work without notice and he's attached to his phone so I know he's seen my calls at the very least

I wrote out a generic email about cancelling our appointments and a brief apology then stating I'd be in contact at a later date to reschedule I sent that to the rest of the list

I pulled up employee records (which thank god I had administrative access to) and searched Harry I found his address I grabbed my phone putting it in my GPS I closed that and logged out of my computer

I gathered all my stuff and walked out

I followed my GPS to his house I tried to call again one more time as I was on my way but still no answer

I drove through what had to be a million dollar neighborhood every house was crisp and clean everything was open and highly decorated

I came to a more empty stretch homes were a lot further apart my GPS told me I arrived as I pulled up to a gated isolated home

I drove up to the gate and my phone rang, it was Harry

"Hello?"

"Go home" he answered

I frowned "I just wanted to come check on you and make sure you were alright"

"I'm fine" he snapped

I shook my head "I don't think you are"

"Leave"

I parked at his gate "no" I started "I don't believe you let me see you"

"I'm not letting you in"

I nodded and turned my car off "okay then I'll climb over your gate"

"What?!" He was bewildered

"Yeah I'll be at your door in a minute" I grabbed a jacket from my passenger seat and got out of my car taking my heels off tossing them on my seat
